Swimsuit sizing...
$12,681
Thanks so much for your shopping advice. Just got in 3 swimsuits from Lands End. I had no idea what size to get so I did a mix and ordered 3 different suits. I'm filling out the tankini in size 4 DD almost to the point of too tight, but if could work. I'm going to see if they have a 4DDD or a 6DD. I ordered a 4 petite in a one piece , which is my normal clothes size, and it is a joke! So tight! I've never worn a petite swimsuit before. I guess I have a long torso to be so short. The 2 D tankini was sooo funny! Not even close to covering the girls!! Lol! And I asked to be a full C cup...I know...most people wish they'd gone bigger...
I'll try to get some photos soon.

Swimsuit advice needed!
Ok girls...I need help in finding a swimsuit. My boobs are now a 32DDD (Victoria's Secret, which means I'm probably a DD.) but I have a nonexistent size 2-4 butt. (I'm working like crazy to build some muscle there!) I can't even think about a bikini with all the flab on my tummy and my dark crater of a belly button! Where can I find a cute tankini that is sold separately by cup size? I can't wear a size Large because even though it would cover the girls, the rest of it will be too big. Thanks for your help!

Just saw your question in my review and came here to look at yours. I think the shape of your breasts is very natural - I was shocked you have implants. Upper pole fullness, to me, is the look of fake boobs. I know, I know, everyone wants it, but it's not natural. Especially after a, achem, certain age. You have a natural tear drop shape. The pulling thing, I agree, should be taken care of or perhaps it will settle. As for your tummy... after looking at your photos, ignore my comment (to your comment) about weight. Clearly you don't have any extra weight. But perhaps you have some fluid in there? My incisions go very far to the side as well, but my PS prepared me for this. I had a "wide" sag and this was necessary, but to me... who cares! And I still have some side sag above my thighs/butt. I was prepared for this. I'm 56 and without a circumfrential body lift, that was not going to be corrected.
Still, if I'm being honest, to this layman it does seem like your tummy should be tighter. I would definitely speak to your doc about this. Ask him if it's the result HE expected. I'm sure it's the last thing you want to think about, but it seems as if he could've cut off more and tightened more, and I'm sure he can do it in a revision. You are beautiful!

Thanks for your comments. Yes, I think our incisions are about the same. I told him he could go as far around as he needed to take away that side flab! I'm with you ...who cares about the scar at this point. Lol! But at 107 lbs I don't think a flat stomach after a tummy tuck is asking that much. I've seen so many women on here who started out looking way worse than I did end up with beautiful and flat stomachs. It just doesn't make much sense to me...unless as you said, there's fluid in there.

Yes, having looked at your photos, I do agree. I wish I didn't. It's a horrible feeling to wonder why your doctor didn't do everything he could. (I had this feeling until it became clear what my "bump" was. Your stomach should be flat! (As for the love handle area, I can still grab there... but I didn't expect not to be able to). FYI, I also researched the "high lateral tension tummy tuck" where the part cut out is wider on the sides and there is more tightening on the sides, but a bit less in the middle. Due to fact that the upper and lower lines don't taper as much to the sides, there is a greater chance of "dog ears," and according to my doc - who is not a fan of HLT TT's anyway, it wouldn't have been as good for me due to the fact that my sag was so much in the "midline" and I needed a lot of pubic lift. Honestly I researched the heck out of and didn't see a dramatic difference in that technique. Plus, doctors rightfully say you should shop for doctors, not techniques. But I digress...) If I'm being candid, I too have seen women who started out worse than you and ended up flatter. That said, every body is different on the inside and anatomically in ways that we don't always see. I've seen short waisted women who have to have higher scars, square shaped women, asymmetry (like mine) and many other things that impact results. But your doctor should be able to explain why you're not tighter (and btw, you need some laxity sitting to be able to stand, lol) to your satisfaction... and his, for that matter. My doc took one look at my "bump" and said it's not acceptable, we would watch it, if my body didn't absorb it, we'd cut it out, etc, etc. My heart goes out to you. What DID your doctor say?

Lands End has some cute tankinis that are sold separately. I had the same problem when I lost a lot of weight and before I had a breast reduction - I was an 8/10 on the bottom and a size 22 on top.

Got mine at Athleta after seeing in another woman's TT review. I LOVE it. You can find it in my review.

Let us know how it goes. I am curious as to what they will do to correct your situation. I am considering having a consultation this summer to see if a new surgeon take away the extra skin above my mid-section.
