WORTH IT$12,600
I went for a consult in April, scheduled my tummy tuck and breast augmentation in May, and Dr. Davis performed the surgery in July. It could not have gone any more smoothly than it did. Surgery took less than three hours, I was up walking that day, and my pain level stayed consistently at almost a zero. I was provided with a good combination of pain meds that kept me comfortable. I told him that I did not want huge implants, and he totally honored my request. I couldn't be more pleased with my new breasts! I also requested a natural looking belly button, not too big or too small, and Dr. Davis gave me the perfect one! Tomorrow I will be two weeks into my recovery, and every day I am more and more impressed with my new body! Besides having marrying my husband and having my three children, this was the best decision I have ever made!

Congrats on your surgery!!! I am 2 weeks post op and still can't stand straight, I'm pulled very very tight! Sounds like you are doing great! Happy healing!!

Thank you! I do feel like I'm tighter in the morning and by midday I'm more stretched out. I wouldn't say I'm 100% standing straight, but each day I get closer.

Thank you for sharing! What size implants did you end up going with?

July 24, 2013
No problem! I obsessively read reviews on RealSelf, so I felt like I needed to leave one as well. If I can help anyone with my story, as others have helped me, then that would be great. I ended up getting 286 cc's in my my larger breast, and 304 cc's in my smaller. Before surgery my "skin" filled up a 34C bra from Victoria's Secret. So ultimately, my goal was to replace the volume that nursing 3 children took away! I'm still swollen, but I think I'm going to end up a full C or small D.

I am going to Dr. Davis as well. I would love to see your updated results and hear more about your experience at that office.

Hello! Are you on Instagram? If so, I have an account tracking my progress. Search for user name PlasticMama3 and that's me. I have tons of pics posted that are as recent as the other day. I LOVE Dr. Davis and staff. It doesn't get any better than them! Top notch all the way. I truly have nothing negative to say about them or my experience. Do you have any specific concerns or questions?

I posted pics in case you aren't on IG:)

Your new photos look awesome! Did you get silicone or saline implants? I am not concerned about anything in particular other than the usual fears around the recovery and looking 'fake' I want to make sure the BA looks natural. Your BA looks awesome!

Thank you! Those were my fears as well! I have silicone and they are under the muscle (286/304 CC). I told Dr. Davis: "I don't want huge boobs. I want them to look natural." He respected my wishes, and I am so happy with the results. I feel like Dr. Davis is conservative in the fact he's not going to let you do something you'll regret. He would've told me if I wanted to something too big, or too small. He kept the expectations real. His office does offer a consultation with the Vectra which is a 3D imaging system that shows you your body with different implant sizes to help determine what look you're going for. That was super helpful! Also, I took my pre-op bra in and said "I want actual boob to fill this cup, NOT skin!" I think there's two kinds of people: some do want the fake look, and then some want more natural. Its just a matter of personal preference. I think it would also be helpful too if you took in a few pics of "dream boobs"...pics from the internet of women how have breasts similar to how you want the new ones to look. Keep me posted if you do decide to go through with it! Good luck!

I have in idea how to do Instagram! My kids do it of course! But I can't exactly ask my boys to find your pics! Haha! I'll try to figure it out. I'm still very depressed about how big my waist/abdomen is. My surgery was Jan 9th. Dr. Davis said I didn't have to wear Spanx or anything if I didn't want to at my 6 wk check up so I haven't been. I'm very petite and can't seem to find anything that works in length that goes under boobs to lower abdomen. I tried on everything Belk had! I'm wondering if I should keep looking for something and go back to wearing one. How long did you wear it? I took my pics off because some weirdo posted spooky comments about how I was going to hell for putting naked pics on the internet! I measured this morning and my waist and abdomen are exactly the same as a month ago... 31 inch waist and 34 inch abdomen. I'm 106 lbs and that just seems impossible to me. I'm definitely not as flabby as before on the front part of my tummy but I can still grab inches on my sides. So glad the weather is better so I can get outside and do some power walking!

I will post pics of my two favorite compression garments. I think i stopped wearing them 24/7 probably around week 5 or 6. Then I would just wear them as needed if I happened to be super swollen that day. I think you need to give yourself til month four or five post-op in regards to swelling. I felt like that was a big milestone for me. I lost 4-5 lbs of water weight and went down a whole size in jeans. I didn't have any changes in my diet/exercise routine so I know it had to be the swelling subsiding. I'm in month eight and I still feel like things are changing, and my abs keep looking more and more defined. I had a lot of swelling in my flanks (no lipo, just from the TT), so that is where I def noticed a difference. It seemed like during post-op month five all of a sudden my jeans were too big, and my back "fat" was gone! I think you need to give it more time, which I know sucks to hear, but it's true. Your bod needs time to heal.

These can be found at Target and JC Penney. Both are the Spanx brand...Assets, and Assets Red Hot Label. They are def a better price point than the traditional Spanx brand in the higher end department stores.
