I am a 33 year old mom of three wonderful children...however they were not so kind on the body...yikes. I gained excessive weight (about 100 lbs) with our first kiddo. it took me 5 long years to lose all the weight. I gained 50 lbs with our second and finally 40 lbs with our youngest. Needles to say I had stretch marks, extra skin, and face it lax tummy muscles...I have always wanted a Breast Augmentation (due to a much smaller like a whole cup size smaller difference between my boobs), but decided on the whole"Mommy Makeover" instead...My consult with Dr. Davis was informative in determining getting a TT or BA or Lipo...well after my consult we went with the whole package...TT, BA, BL(Dr. Davis recommended only on one side) and minimal Lipo on lower back!
My surgery went awesome I'm guessing because I arrived, changed into gown, spoke with Dr. Davis (was marked everywhere,,,I mean I felt bad because I worked really hard to lose 29 lbs before surgery and I still look like a rough draft to a research paper), met the anesthesiologist, walked into the surgical room then I woke up ready to go home. It was great and I was loopy most of the first day, but swelling started on the second day...yeah and is still hanging out. I had a drain less TT which rocks because you would swell either way and at least this way no drains...I keep the regimented medicine structure the doctor prescribed and so far everything is manageable... Hopefully it continues...the best is icing the new girls it relieves e swelling from my lift and implants...30 minutes on and 30 minutes off(frozen peas work the best)...hope everyone is doing well with plans or recovery will keep posing!

Mommy Makeover in full Swing

Just added some photos, Other than being really tight feeling everything is manageable...basically I take my ib profin more than pain meds...a) I hate not being able to go to the bathroom (take stoole softners religiously) and b) ib profin helps with the swelling more than pain meds. I had my first shower this morning (was the highlight of the day for so many teasons) got my first look at everything...Im guessing everything is on track because it looks gross...I have a little seepage but nothing major...do suggest the first shower to have someone right there...I have read and experienced the light headed feeling and getting really hot all of a sudden...my husband has been wonderful with helping with everything and keeping the two little ones...but all in all everything seems good...I did have to call about the "squeaky boob" my right one makes a little squeak every now and then...perfectly normal from trapped air...but so far has not been horrible at all. I know everyone is different so who knows what tomorrow will bring...hope everyone is healing, happy, and healthy!

This is great and just the motivation that I need. my belly looks exactly like your pre...I just wanna take it off and throw it away! I'm looking forward to my MM, just trying to pick the right doc.

If you are in or near North Carolina, Dr. Davis with Davis Plastic Surgery are fantastic...

It is manaheable but day 4 is a turning point in a little more pain for me...our PS gived a shot that is basically a suped up ib profin that lasts for about 3 days but today is a little more soreness but still good my recommendation is to stay with meds on schedule but just gradually reduce the pain med... I had to take one tbis morning but I havent had a pain med since yesterday around 4:30 pm and then it was only one... but this morning felt a little rough but i am icing on regular basis so thar helps also...congrats on Jan 30 new you...will follow since we are closer together...and yes you get emotional throughout the journey for sure but my support system (my husband and kiddos) is sound and supportive

One Week Update
BoobsMcGeeJanuary 17, 2014
I made it to thr one week part...yeah! Had my post-op with PS yesterday...I have to save I Dr. Davis and Jenna( his nurse)...Dr. Davis came in and gave the physical exam and told me a couple things like no crazy gum for at least a month but to def start back at like week 2, take it easy and listen to my body" if it doesnt hurt it is fine " but remember you will still be swelling (gave me presrciption for diuretic) and was patient bc my husband and I brought the 5 and 3 year old with us...he actually was really goid with them...Jenna went over all the massages and when to start the scar cream and gave me arinca cream for the bruising...yep I have bruising, my little bit of Lipo (had minimal on lower back and hips) so needless to say we need to arnica...Jenna gave me tube...my PS is awesome bc he just doesnt give anything only if you need it... I excited to see the results from the lipo more bc I tried for ever to lose that spot with a no dice ending...but overall I was completely happy and on track with healing...I do have swelling and it does set the pace of the day...
I have to say I love Gretta at my Dr. Davis I was not sold on having my BL/BA with TT at the same time but she rold me it makes the TT easier to endure because hello you get instant gratification looking down and seeing the implants and lift so you have results to be happy about versus having to waiting the 4-6 months for the TT results...not that you do not see results with the TT but in the beginning lets face it you look like an swollen bride of frankinstein...so seeing a positive site sure does help...gotta love Gretta and my husband ( whi Im sure had other motives in mind) with support and encouragement...
Hope everyone is having a safe and happy healing...and to all futures it is so worth it...
