I've thought about having this done for a while but as I was turning 40 I thought that it's time. I'm a skinny girl weighing about 117lbs (and 5'7) at the time of surgery but my 3 c sections have done a little number on my abdomen. It's been a great experience. I had the surgery Thursday. I took narcotic pain meds until Friday night and only Tylenol a few times since then. I was driving by Sunday and went to a meeting at work on Monday for about an hour. I had my follow up appt today with Dr. Morea which went just fine. I go back to work on Thursday and will be on my feet 12 hours (Im an RN at a local hospital). Although I feel great now I'm not looking forward to 12 hours on my feet.

Welcome to the community.   You may want to rethink that 12 hour shift so quickly.  You are going to be wiped out and swollen after that shift.

Too late. It wasn't so bad. I didn't take any pain meds and I did fine. I didn't hurt by the end of the 12 hours.... Just uncomfortable from the swelling.

Can you tell me a bit more about your surgery? I'm 5'5 and 123. I'm right in the middle of qualifying for a full v mini TT. Was your belly button removed? It looks like it may have been slightly moved, does this leave a scar? You look great!

I had the mini tummy tuck with liposuction of the flanks (the nurse told me that they only got 250cc out from that). I didn't have any drains. He did not remove my belly button. He did what he called a key hole procedure on it which I'm still not exactly how that worked. I'm hoping the scar on my belly button will eventually fade completely. I need to post another picture to mark two weeks today but I have just worked 3 thirteen hour shifts at the hospital and I feel extra swollen because of that. I will post another picture this weekend. If I can answer any more questions just let me know. Good luck!

Thanks! I did have the muscle repair. I was hurting for about 48 hours. I would say at the most my pain was a 6 out of 10 (0 is no pain and 10 is the worst pain ever). After that I was uncomfortable but not what I call in pain. It's actually not been bad at all. If you want to have it done now I would say go for it. Good luck!

Ahh, I have the same extra skin on my lower abs. I'm thing too. I was getting. Full tummy tuck but after seeing a few of you ladies here, I now know that I don't need a full one. Can't wait to see you progression. I had 3 csections. Last baby was born last year in June.

2 weeks post op. I'm still swollen but everything is looking better. Areas of my stomach and my lower back (from the lipo) are still numb. This has been much easier than I had anticipated.
