Four weeks post op, eyelids and lip lift close ups

I cant believe it's been four weeks! I have an appointment with the plastic surgeon today for before and after photos. My ears and area around my ears still feel numb; lower glands area below the back of my ears are still swollen. occasionally this area feels very tender and tight so I take arnica pills and Alene. Sometimes a cold gel pack applied to the area for 15 minutes works just as well.
Regarding the lip lift, the sutures underneath my nose have not completely dissolved. Some feel like splinters when I tough them, also there are tiny bumps where they protrude. I've been told to use a wash rag to help them dissolve faster, but don't think this has really helped. I'll ask the ps about it today, and see if they can do anything to remove them.
My scars on my upper eyelid looks like eyeshadow on the crease of my eyes. They actually enhance my eyes, just like make up. I'm guessing they will fade over time.
With the lower eyelid surgery where fat on lower eyelids were removed, I feel it changed how my eyes look- maybe more slanted? Not complaining, although I use liquid eyeliner to make my eyes appear larger and more 'round'.
Feeling I'd tightness and pressure on my neck area gets better every day. so far, I'm very pleased with the results and rate of recovery. Good luck to all my sisters who are currently healing, or about to have their surgery done I. The next few months!

3 Weeks Post Op

I'm at a conference in Pittsburgh this week, and have had to relearn how to apply make up to account for my still fatter than normal cheeks, and slanted eyes.
A girl at Ulta showed me how to mask these, including applying highlighter eyeshadow on the inner corners below my eyes.
I swear, I remind myself of Lucy Luu.. Lol!
I still have bumps under my nose, and still feel some sutures, and sutures in my ears, but don't believe they're very visible.
An ex-coworker asked my how I keep looking beautiful, how do I do it? Little does she know I've had a facelift just 3 weeks ago! It made me feel so good :-)

Two Weeks Post Op

Arrived at Prague with my fiancé for a week of vacation before his conference starts. There are times in the day when the back of my head and behind the ears become very sore; so I take Percocet when i feel it come on: at home, I couldn't apply a gel pack which really helps numb the pain, but limited to pills when traveling. I still have swellIng in my face; it's wider than normal, and eyes are still more slanted than normal.

He's a great doctor, and is known for being the best in the area for face surgery. He is also very caring, compassionate, and responsive to any concerns or questions I had. He gives his patients his personal cell number, so they can text him/send photos with any concerns. I texted him photos almost every day with questions, and he'd respond almost immediately, I swear. Thank you, Dr. Stein!
