Type A Perfectionist More Than Pleased ! - Raleigh, NC

As a perfectionist, I have been researching doctors for years trying to find the right one. I came across Dr. Law here on real self and love his philosophy: no patient will leave his office looking "done". It is exactly what I was looking for in a surgeon.

As an out of state patient, and from the first point of contact, everyone in the office made sure the process up until surgery was smooth. I always received emails or phone calls when most convenient for me. My initial consultation was over the phone and Dr. Law spent about an hour on the phone with me answering any questions I had; although I didn't have many because he was extremely thorough in his explanation in how everything would go.

Tracy the NP in the office was patient in answering all my questions and providing reassurance. Everyone on the team was just very comforting. My pre/post op nurse Jessica reminded me why I became a nurse myself. She made all the difference and I don't know how to thank her. She called my mom when I finished out of surgery and made me feel like I was getting ready / recovering from surgery with a friend. Very down to earth with a calming demeanor. She also was very genuine in her concern for my well being. I was nervous about going under but the anesthesiologist was very laid back which in turn made me feel more laid back about it. I briefly met the OR staff as I started to fall asleep going in - but everyone was very friendly introducing themselves.

I also got juvederm in my lips. What amazed me was Dr. Law evaluated me before his nurse did the injections, which I don't believe other offices do. Usually the nurse just injects without the surgeons input. I was very impressed. Melissa did my injection and she was so friendly and provided so much valuable information. My biggest fear was having duck lips but they are so perfect. I felt at ease when I went in because Melissa's lips were perfect so I knew I was in good hands! Nobody can tell, but my mother and I can; just very naturally aesthetically pleasing results. In a year when I need them filled again I will be flying to NC from Boston again; I will not trust anyone else with my lips.

Dr. Law is big on pain control, I had ZERO pain post op. Sore yes, but no pain! He even called me the night of surgery to see if I was okay which I believe is unheard of. I would highly recommend Dr. Law and his staff. If you have any questions you can contact me and I am more than willing to answer. I am about 3 weeks post op and love my results. I couldn't have asked for a better team to perform my surgery.
