I'm looking into getting breast augmentation with implants (Sientra) and the amazing PS I want to go with recommended also doing fat grafting along with the implants to even out some inconsistencies. I should note that my breasts don't have any deformities, just some natural fat loss at different intervals between the two breasts. I'm 36, no kids and a size 34/C, 130 lbs, 5'3" and I do a lot of strength training.

Has anyone undergone this type of surgery and can offer some advice about recovery time/experience? I'm a little concerned about the "harvest" of the fat which the Dr. would like to do from my abdomen and requires lipo in that area. I wasn't really looking for lipo, but the option is intriguing.

How long does it take to recover from the lipo? And how long does it take to recover from the breast aug?

Any info is super appreciated, thanks!

In my opinion, you recover faster from breast augmentation, rather than fat grafting. I had very little to add to one of my breasts from my hips area, and I was bruised for about 3 weeks. If your doctor is an expert in fat grafting, you will not suffer much. I am very happy with my procedure, although the recovery pictures look somehow scary :)
