After 100lb Weightloss, Lots of Skin Leftover

I did my consultation with Dr. Matthew Blanton at the end of January. I had him look at my stomach and my thighs. However due to the incision sites, he wanted to do them separate.

Yesterday was my surgery and he did a fantastic job! The whole staff is amazing and were super friendly! I can’t wait to see what my abdomen looks like as the swelling goes away. I have very minimal pain as well.

I was able to wash my hair today (can’t stand greasy hair) in the deep sink we have and a bare minimum bird bath. Sometimes I can bend over and it won’t burn and others it will.

My body has been waking up on its on somehow when it’s time to take my next dose of pain medicine. The Percocet knocks me out like crazy but I’m glad otherwise it’d be hard going to sleep leaning back. I’m a side and stomach sleeper.

I can tell where the abdomen stitching is affecting my eating and appetite. If i eat more than I should it is so uncomfortable. This morning I had waffles (2) and that was almost too much.

My left drain is draining a lot of fluid but the one on my right isn’t doing as much. I call between 8-9am tomorrow to report my notes on how much has come out. I’m very ready to get them out. They are not painful but just cumbersome.
