I finally am scheduled for surgery! I have been contemplating this for 7 years since I had my oldest child. After being 125 pounds prepregnancy and hitting past 200 pounds with each pregnancy, I was left with muscle tears and excess skin that cannot be fixed with diet and exercise. I have eaten healthy and had a total body transformation with Beachbody products/workouts, now im just one step away from my dream goal--to rock a two piece confidently again.I also suffer from an autoimmune disease so I was hoping to help others whom suffer with a review on our I fair the surgery/recovery process. Due to many reasons it was put off but I finally am taking the plunge!

I am home from surgery obviously it is 240 in the morning. Everything went awesome! I haven't gotten to see under the binder yet but I did get to see a picture of all the skin they removed. Boy was it alot. Almost 3 pounds worth on my 5'5 140 frame. I will post pictures soon. Just wanted to update I have been feeling soreness in my stomach like a horrible post ab workout day. The drains burn occasionally when I have my bottoms on, so I have them pulled down. I do not have a recliner so im in bed with a ton of pillows propped up. Pain wise I'm staying on top of it. Took Miralax this evening to avoid future problems (hopefully!) And I'm on bactrim antibiotic. I can't say enough good things about Dr.Gunn and her staff, they have been awesome so far. Anyone else out there have their surgery on July 17 as well? Worse part for Me? Standing feels like my stomach pressure is going to explode. This too shall pass!

Drains, drains and more drains.

I felt like I had a fever/flu symptoms and my pain medicine was making it so I couldn't sleep. Dr. Gunn had me come in and all looks great. She gave me a new script for Tramadol to help tonight. My drains are doing what they are supposed to but they are super annoying. I would do anything to shower right now! I was home alone for about two hours today for the first time since surgery and the only obstacle I really had was moving about in the kitchen. This has definitely been harder than I thought it would be but I still think it was the best decision.
