Worst mistake I’ve ever made! I went to a well known facial plastic surgeon and after four months I still have two holes in my face even when not smiling! It has been four months and I keep being told to be patient it will flatten out but I don’t think it’s going get any better! If I had known this would be a possibility I would never have gone through with this.

Do you mind my asking which surgeon you went to, because I have a consultation scheduled for next week with a surgeon in Raleigh?

I had dimpleplasty done in April and was told that outside marks will be visible 4-6 months. I am at 3 month mark and still do have outside markings. My doctor says it is normal and expected. Since you have done it earlier by 2 months, when did they disappear (in rested non-smile postion) or do u still have them? Thank you in advance!!!
Correction: I am at 2 months mark!
Nope not as deep as the first picture but have gone through lasers fillers and steroids trying to get the scar to let go but it hasn’t very depressing

And probably would want my deeper but not like suture marks....they are bothersome like ppl did stare for a while and i have been jocking that I had piercing done. Please hang in there! You look cute, I have no motive to butter it up.
Mine never disappeared. Wothout smiling thereis a indention like a holeatlestyours looks loke a crease and looks natural mine doesnt at all look natural as it is not a crease but a dent when not smiling it is a dent and volume is lost in my face too so itis unbalanced completely. I was.told it was reversable and itis not. I know how you feel mine never got better and onyourface it is awful to live with bit yours does look like a dimple. Please speak to your surgeon as if youre not happy I hope theycan assist.
Oh my right one almost a year later now is a hole of volume loss and scarring I have had a subcision didn’t work and filler added but it’s to scarred down didn’t work. I hate even looking in the mirror...
It’s been 5 months since my dimpleplasty and I still have holes and a scar on my left cheek.

How’s your progress? Can you give me an update? I’m worried my holes will be permanent...

I relate to no pictures I have only been in 2 which I didnt want taken its an awful trade off to go in fpr something your told has no consquences. This type of surgery should not be allowed. It is popular in America and Asia.
