Nightmare

I had Radiesse injected in cheekbone area in June 2017. October 2018 I have a granuloma size of golfball growing out of face. Woke up one morning couldn’t see out of right eye in the mirror I look like prizefighter. Went to hospital emergency. Finally got lanced and drained after 3rd visit to ER. Then it started on left side. Hospitalized for four days on intravenous antibiotics after being lanced and drained. My dermatologist later created a horrible adhesion to my cheekbone trying to get more stuff out of my face. To repair that “hole” the scar revision he proposed, injecting hyalauronic acid to boost collagen and thus pop out the scar, resulted in re-activating the Radiesse and I was full of multiple pus pimples and redness and swelling on both sides. Got prednisone, oral antibiotics, told it was merely an “inflammation” not an infection, needed multiple painful prednisone shots into face and subsequent visits to extract pus and blood - requiring Percocet beforehand. In the end, after scars and dermal atrophy aged me 10 years, I had to have a plastic surgeon do 4 procedures to give me my face back. This required me to withdraw retirement funds. One needs to test for reaction and even then I don’t know because my problems showed up 18 months later.
