Radiesse in Hands Caused Lumps

I had Radiesse injected into my hands about 3 months ago. I was hoping to smooth out the tendons in my hands but it resulted in lumps that can be easily seen through the skin. It also made tiny veins appear that were not previously apparent. I'm extremely disappointed and upset about the treatment. Apparently nothing can be done and I have to wait at least a year for it to go away. I do not recommend! I would appreciate any thoughts on why this happened and if it is common.

And that is the problem with this product. It doesn't dissolve and balls up. You cant use a hyaluronic acid on it like you can with other injectables. It's too late to massage it down. Your best bet is to wait a while and look into fat injections or going to a different doctor and using a different doctor. It does go down significantly but it's a horrible product in untrained hands.

Just curious if they told you to massage your hands 5 times a day for 5 days? that's supposed to prevent this

No, I was not told anything about massaging. I've done the 5-5-5 thing after Sculptra though. I think this is an issue with the injector because I have nodules in my face after Sculptra. Never had this happen with the injector I had previously.
