Veneers

Please need some opinions on my permanent veneers

WORTH IT
I was really hoping to get some opinions. My new veneers are lovely-I do love the color and feel of them and the shape. What I’m not pleased with are the length of one of the front teeth compared to the one next to it, and the lateral tooth next to that is longer than necessary. It actually gets knocked sometimes when I’m chewing. This tooth is much longer than my temporaries so I am unsure why it’s different than the temporaries were.

I did “sign off” on these the day they were put in last week. I guess I was anxious, overwhelmed and excited and didn’t really fully notice these differences until a day or two later. do I have any case for replacement on at least 2 teeth? What is involved in that? Can at least my lateral be gently polished down so it matches the other side? I spent 18k on these teeth!!
I am going to add a photo of the temporaries so you can see that these permanents are not similar.

They are pretty!
You can ask them to adjust the length of the real veneer teeth. You have to make sure you love them before they snap on your real teeth.
i think they are pretty
$20k?! That's a ridiculous amount for veneers... wow. They look pretty nice though.
Thanks! The 20k included a bunch of other treatments to improve the health of my mouth. The veneers themselves....I think totaled around 13.5k
Your teeth look great, but I see what you are talking about. Doesn't seem like it would be too hard to fix the very very tiny length differences and I'd bring it up with the doc. Good luck and enjoy!

Update! My permanents are finally in my mouth!

Update: 5/1. I got my permanent veneers yesterday! At first I was a little uneasy about how they looked and felt. Yesterday they seemed “too white” and not natural looking, also yesterday my gums surrounding were dark-looking.
This morning I’m feeling a lot better about how they look and feel. There are a couple tiny areas where I feel like the gum area has a bit of a space but only if I really critique it.
The two front teeth aren’t even (you can see one is slightly shorter) and the lateral on my left side is longer than the lateral on the right. Again only if I really sit and critique my teeth I see this but it doesn’t bug me *too bad* as I kind of feel that these imperfections add to the natural look maybe?
I’d really love some opinions though!
Also now the color of my bottom teeth do not match my tops. I will need to whiten them at least 2 shades. I’d love some recommendations on teeth whiteners that won’t break the bank (I’ve already spent enough!) and will work fairly fast with minimal pain. Sensitivity scares the geebus out of me!
I will have these temps on for another 5 weeks. I did go and get them adjusted though. My dentist was able to shorten the laterals and round off my front teeth a bit at the bottoms and I like them so much better.

so one thing I’m noticing after a few days is that the lateral on my left side is longer than my front tooth. when I had my temporaries trimmed, my dentist made both laterals shorter tan my front teeth per my request and I liked the result. why isn’t my permanent like that? I unfortunately signed off on them because at the time of my appt they did appear to look ok overall, but then again I was overwhelmed and excited d stressed by the whole procedure. can veneers be filed down? what sort of case do I have in this situation?
how many teeth did you get veneer? Thank you
10 top teeth.
I had 10 teeth veneered.
I just had my front four top done and you should be 100 percent happy. Do not accept anything else!! We sent mine back twice and even after we cemented the last ones on we didn’t like one and he drilled it off and had them make another one. Sucked dealing with all that...but they are perfect and I am so happy. Make them fix that tooth... it is too long! Other than that I like them. Also, my dentist whitened all my teeth in his office before we started so they would all be same shade. I hear crest white strips do a good job and easy on the sensitivity.
Looks great! How are you doing now? Happy? Waiting for my “ real ones”- 14 veneers -4 implant cro we owns. Had temps now 5 months (waiting for implants to heal) and I am so used to them I'm sure real ones will be shocking as temps like set if dentures all stuck together. Yay for treating yourself- comments made over cost kinda of rude. You spend you'd money how you want. I'm out 41,000 on mine (includes implants & extra bone) . Had luminers before. My mouth my money. They are sending a set out to try on before they seal the deal, I'm so confused on why looks good on me. Good luck and good health!

I’d love some opinions. I badly needed work done on my teeth for health reasons and cosmetically. My teeth suffered for decades due to severe dental phobia and very bad choices.
Along with amalgam removal, crown replacements-my dentist suggested 10 front veneers. Because I have gum recession (from clenching, not gum disease!) she suggested that I veneer over the recession.
Today the temporaries were put in and I hate them. My teeth are abnormally long looking and very huge. My children told me not to smile normal. They said to smile a little because they look better than if I smile regular. So heartbreaking!!
I also see it looks so strange by the gum line and I don’t know if this is the glue or what. Maybe when it wears off they will look less long?
Also, I’m not liking the straight across look of the teeth. They are too “perfect”. I feel like I want some variation with tooth length (the teeth on either side of the fronts I’d like shorter than the others) what do you think?
The color here is 01 001. I’m thinking of choose b4 for permanents but unsure. I don’t want them too yellow-y but too white is bad too. Thoughts on this?
I’d love some opinions. Thanks!

I think they look good. Takes time to get used to.
I think you are right. They look a bit long and all are almost the same size.If you're unhappy with your smile then THIS is the time for you to tell the doctor that you are unhappy with them.If you don't then you will regret. In the end you are paying a lot of money for a smile that you are going to have for a long time.If you have a picture of yourself before your teeth got bad, then maybe you could go from there?
For choosing the color:Look at the whites of the eyes for guidance. The veneers should never be whiter.Good luck and keep us updated
They are the temporaries...not the final result. Hopefully, by now you have the permanent ones installed and you are happy?

Great! too bad you have to wait 5 weeks though. I hope you post a pic at the end.
I think they look great. But i understand what u are saying about the length. They should maybe shorten all of them but a little more as your teeth progress to resemble a more natural structure
