Disgusting Patient Treatment
Had a very bad experience with Dr. Sodhi. The one and only time I’ve complained to the medical board. AVOID.
She was Completely condescending. Made judgmental remarks about the neighborhood I live in (she looked at my address apparently to determine how much respect I should be treated with). She made very rude comments about my profession (I’m also in the medical field but apparently she felt superior). She used some weird non-medical gloves that she laughingly said were “so cheap, I hate them”, WHILE she was in the middle of my exam. I got a bv infection from said gloves. The exam was VERY painful and when I told her she was hurting me she didn’t stop and made a facial expression of disgust.
She also laughed and said “that’s stupid that makes no sense” while I explained my initial problem of painful cramps. Also tried to shame me for not wanting to be on birth control.
I’ve never had a worse experience in a medical facility EVER.
It’s been years and I’m writing this now because it still bothers me. The medical board did nothing I’m sure but she should not be in practice. I’ve worked in hospital setting for 9 years and in the medical field for 15. The experience was gross and harmful.
