Qwo - I have battled cellulite no matter my age or my weight

I would consider these my final pictures. It’s been a month since my 3rd and final injections. I still have discoloration from where the bruises were. The bruises the 1st treatment was extremely intense as you can see from the pictures. The 2nd and 3rd rounds produced much less bruising and much less pain/sensitivity. I would say I was only sore for a day or 2 on both of those. Overall I don’t know if I could really recommend this. I don’t see much of a difference, if any. Giving up 12 full weeks + for such minimal results isn’t so fun. It claims to be for moderate to severe cellulite and I’m pretty certain I fall into that category.

I have been thinking about this as well. But I've definitely seen reviews like yours without much help. And I am and tired of spending money on things that don't work. I wish they'd give you a money back guarantee or something or a credit at least for something else If you don't get results.

I was very fortunate that my provider credited me the full amount I paid ($2,400) for QWO. I didn’t even have to ask! It was clear from the before and after photos that there was no improvement. I’m so grateful they did that!

That's great! I've had providers offer me different treatments when something completely didn't work, but never the full value. I think this is so new that they're still figuring out the results. And it's not fair to patients who do it early on if they find out it's not really helpful.

Yippee! Shocked they did that but amen!! But OMG, NO improvement???! How can this be? Just got a consult, and the nurse told me 100% of her (few- says it's brand new) patients have been happy. I was soooo looking forward! Le sigh.

I have to say, you look great!! But I don’t see much of a difference in the before and after. For me, personally, QWO was definitely not worth it.
January 26, 2022
Wow. Can you share more of your experience and why it wasn't worth it? Thx for sharing and bummed that was the case!

Do you have discoloration? I do and I’m wondering if it will ever go away?
October 21, 2021
Yes. I was told by a rep for QWO that it will go away. It's called "shadowing". It's pretty awful. I still look somewhat bruised.
January 26, 2022
Oh no!! Thanks for posting your experience! I'm in the process of considering the same! Concerned about the EXPENSE as well as the pain/bruising/swelling...but we can get over bruising, not so easy to get over losing thousands of dollars if something didn't work!! Just curious A- how much you spent and B) what would you give your results overall on a scale from 1 to 10? I'm sad/sorry to hear it sort of seemed like a waste to you! Ugh!! We just want smooth skin! :(

Has your “shadowing” gone away?

Day 5

So the bruising spread pretty intensely as expected. And it has been very very sore to the point where sitting down or like turning in bed is really painful, even lightly brushing over them is uncomfortable. I’m not sure if it’s like this for everyone or I just have increased pain with this. The bruises are swollen and you can actually feel that there is swelling. Some of the bruises have kind of hard knots. My next treatment is in 17 days so I will be curious to see how much bruising is still there at that point.

I received my 1st injections about 3 weeks ago and experienced the bruising and soreness for about a week. That was normal and bearable but its these darn nodules are so concerning, I hate them! They don't seem to be going away and makes my normal cellulite dimples look even worse. With that being said, I do understand that the nodules are a normal side effect and I am hopeful that they will dissipate soon and I ultimately get good results. What advice did your doc give you about this? Massage? S

I'm so glad you said this! The knots are crazy and I was wondering how they will even do the next treatment if they are still like this. I haven't gotten any feedback about it yet.

I’m with you. The nodules are insane!
June 3, 2021
It’s so painful. I did round two yesterday.
June 3, 2021
I'm a week out from round 2... my bruises from the 1st session are 90% gone. Still some nodules. How was the 2nd series for you??
June 4, 2021
I'm day 3 since my second round. It hasn't been enjoyable. Less bruising, but extremely sore. Painful actually. I'm fatigued and I can feel my body is trying to heel itself.
June 12, 2021
I'm day 3 now after round 2. Bruising and pain have been much less than the first but still pretty uncomfortable. I have the nodules again. They said I could gently massage them out or just leave them.
June 11, 2021
Did you have a follow up treatment? How did that go?
June 12, 2021
Hi! Yes. I had my second round 3 days ago. Injections were a little more tender than the first time. Bruising is WAYYY better than the first round.
June 12, 2021
Today is day 2 for me after my first treatment. Bruising is extreme with lumps all over. Sitting and even trying to turn in bed is painful. And I’m starting to feel the nodules as well, I really hope this works!
June 12, 2021
I know girl! It's not fun. I just laid on my side or kinda my lower back. The pain was pretty much gone after the first week for me and bruising never quite went away before round 2. Round 2 has been a lot easier for me tho.

So the treatment was really easy. They have you clench your bum and mark the spots with the most aggressive dimples. I did a treatment that gives you 24 injection spots (12 on each side). The injections are a tiny bit stingy and a couple on the sides of my legs were pretty tender. After the injections were done I headed home. Took about 30 minutes with pictures and everything- so really quick. Within a few hours I started to bruise and was REALLY TENDER! They told me the bruising was going to be really bad and i would be sore a couple of days. I have to lay on my back to take the pressure off of the bruised area because it is really painful. I did take some Tylenol and that helped.
