Trying to in a qualified plastic surgeon that has performed a Thigh Lift multiple times.
I realize there is higher risk for infections and wound separation with this procedure. I want someone with experience. I am willing to travel out of state to have it done.

Hi, I have not had the procedure yet but have been following Dr Peter Fisher from San Antonio.Please check his thigh lift procedures.

I have reached out to Dr. Peter Fisher in San Antonio. I am having a phone consultation with him tomorrow. I sent him the pictures and he think I might have Lipedema that would need some Liposuction before doing the Thigh Lift

From my research, he would be at the top of my list to do the procedure if travel isn't an issue.

My consult with Dr. Fisher went great. I like his demeanor and he answered all of my questions. He spent 30-45 minutes with me and I did not feel rushed or that any of my questions were silly. He thinks I have Stage 2-3 Lipedema. He recommends extensive Liposuction before doing the Thigh Lift. The estimate for doing both Liposuction and Thigh Lift is $17,594 (Doctors Charges, Hospital Charges, Operating Room and Anesthesiology).
This is just an estimate. I would also have to pay to stay at a Hotel for 10-14 days after surgery.
I am going to get a consultation with 1 or 2 doctors here in Illinois. Dr. Karol Gutowski and Dr. Daniel Krochmal. I want to see if they agree that I have Lipedema and what it would cost to do Liposuction and Thigh Lift here in the Chicago area.
My decision process is based on these things:
Doctor's Experience with massive weight loss patients, Number of Thigh procedures performed, bedside manner/personality, treats patients with respect, Does the procedure in a Hospital and not a surgery center and Cost (Insurance will not cover any of this)
Travel is not an issue for me. My husband is retired from the Airlines and I can get free travel on Delta Airlines and my sister works for United Airlines and I can get buddy passes from her.
Right now I am trying to educate myself on this Lipedema thing. Knowledge is Power to making an educated decision. Once I get a second or third opinion and estimates, I will schedule the procedure. I would like to do this around May/June 2019.

Dr. Peter fisher has great reviews for both liposuction for lipedema and thigh lifts and body lifts. I have lipedema and wish I had of used him myself.

Surgery Schedled
I decided to go with Dr. Peter Fisher in San Antonio, Texas. I will be doing 2 procedures.
I will do Liposuction from Hips to Ankles in August 2019 than Thighlift in 2020.

If you don't mind me asking, how much did he charge you for liposuction from hips to ankles? My legs, ankles, and thighs look just like yours and I'm interested in having the same, lipo first then thigh lift months later.
