6 year Update
WORTH IT$8,500
As of June 15, 2026 it has been 6 years since my tummy tuck. In August it will be 4 years since my belly button repair and lipo.
In 2024 I took seimoreline and lipo-c injections for a year to get my weight down to my goal weight of 170 lbs. When I stopped I weighed 165 lbs and have been going between 170 and 165.
This has been a journey that I am happy about and proud of despite some people's opinions. I wanted to do it so I did. I did the work and still doing the work. That is all tht matters.

5 Day Countdown
5 days to until my belly button revision and liposuction. YAY!
Surgery date and time is Tuesday, August 30, 2022, at 10:30 am. I will be getting 3 areas liposuctioned. My love handles that came from them dang steroids (UGH), my upper and lower abs. Then, my belly button revision (Umbilical Scar Revision). I am very happy I will still have my circular belly button because sometimes it must be done as a triangle. I know someone who has one and they don’t like it. I will not be under anesthesia. She said it would look like a smily face...lol I was going to have them put a divider from breast down so I would not see but decided not to. Dr. Hix wants to be able to see my facial expressions and plus think it would be interesting. I can not wait to share THAT experience.
I received and email today that my lab work came back good and just waiting on my doctor to give clearance. All my meds are called in and ready for pickup. Cephalexin 14 caps, Gabapentin 1 cap, Lorazepam 3 tab, Acetaminophen - Codeine 20 tab.
I will keep everyone updated on my progress and post pictures for sure. Almost there!

I'm sure all will go well. You look grerat already! Happy healing.
So excited for you
Thank you. I am now 3 weeks post procedure. I have been trying to get it posted here with pictures but slacking. I had my 3rd z massage today and looking good.
I had a tummy tuck May 9 2022. I am hoping to get a breast reduction in the next 6 months. My recovery has been a little slow from the TT. I had to learn tj not compare my healing with anyone else’s. I was seeing people wearing regular clothes, standing on their own and walking around by the 3rd day. I had no such luck… lol! I was so depressed by my slow recovery. I really had to dig deep and realized my body is different and it’s ok. My doctor was happy with my recovery so I should be too. I’m learning to listen to my body. I’ve been clear to exercise but to use caution and common sense… lol! I will say that I am ready to get back to normal life….. I’m not there yet but I can see it!!!
Awesome! In case noone welcomed you. Welcome to the flat side. YAY!
Mines was as well. Yes, don't compare your healing with anyone else. I tell people who have surgeries that too. It can also depend on the doctor what type of pain regiment they have. My doctor had a hell of pain regiment. I was up walking around the second day hunched over. The only pain I had was from the nerve or nerves being cut but it happened with my c-section just forgot. I can't stress listen to YOUR body. Trust me I had to learn that and I am having to do that now after my lipo. Remember it is not a race it takes time but the end results are worth it. You are doing great! I am going to get my pictures up soon. My post will uberly long though..lol
SENDING POSITIVE VIBES YOUR WAY!

Thank you for responding. I needed to hear this from someone who actually knows what it’s like.
You are so welcome!
