I have been debating about getting a breast lift...

WORTH IT$10,000
I have been debating about getting a breast lift and augmentation for some time now. After finishing my nurse practitioner program in Dec 2018, I decided that I was going to reward myself with new boobs. I love to work out at least 4 to 5 times a week for an hour. I'm very happy with my body except for my breast. I don't ever remember them not being saggy. I am doing this for my own preference and self-esteem. Although a nice bra makes them sit up nicely but I have no breasts tissue. Having doing my research I'm comfortable with my surgeon but I'm having second thoughts about post-op complications and the fact that I can't work out for a while lol.

Hi Hun!!!! Im so happy you decided to do this for yourself. Its one of the best things I've done for ME. I hope thats your experience too. I will tell you with complete honesty that you need AT LEAST 2 weeks after surgery to recover. It can take up to a year to heal fully. You probably already know this. I just hit one year post op. Its worth it...but they do take time to heal. Let us know what you decide!!! Take care.

Thank you for your response. As of right now I'm scheduled for February 21st. If I change my mind I only have 2 weeks prior to surgery to get a full refund. I did call the office and the staff was very pleasant. As I stand tonight I think I'm going to go ahead and have the procedure. I'll keep you guys posted thank you for your response and support

Congratulations on getting through school! This decision was made solely for me as well. It has been something I’ve wanted to do for over 20 years. It has only been a week since the surgery but I feel so happy that I have gone through with it. I try to workout about 3 days a week and the down time is crazy however, I know I will be able to get back on track once the healing process gets to a better place. Good luck next month!

Ahhh!!! How exciting your surgery is coming up? how are you feeling? It so worth it, even all I’ve been through along with some other here the end result always out weighs any hiccups in between you may experience. Definitely having that rapport with your PS helps so much too. Keep us posted for sure!!!

Super excited! I'm getting all my laundry, shopping, and cleaning done tomorrow because I have to work the next few days prior to surgery. I think this is good because it'll keep my mind occupied. I'm not sure what to expect because I've never head surgery. Well I guess if you call my wisdom tooth extractions surgery and they were done under anesthesia.

Haha, I did the same thing and felt the same way. It takes a bit to get used to after surgery I know I told myself I just need to make sure I don’t do anything silly coming out of anesthesia lol like you see when people have their wisdom teeth taken out. I made sure then too lol. But rest it up girl. My most nervous part was my first shower. But it felt so good on my breasts I didn’t even care. lol Is the surgery center close to home? if so just make sure you have everything all stocked, ready and close enough, that way you barely have to move. Oh I don’t know if it was from all the meds but I dr k so much water felt like a fish out of water. I drink a lot of it anyways but it was definitely extra, like I was pregnant again. haha

Yes Surgery Center is about 10 minutes away. Yes I'm going to do some more last minute shopping Tuesday. Thanks for sharing the tip about heavy everything close.

I’m finishing the same program and want to do this as well as a grad gift but I’m too conservative and worried about complications!

So am l. I'm actually very nervous today. I'm in hopefully all we go well. I trust my PS and l have talked to quite a few people who have no regrets. I do don't want to regret spending 10000.

Congrats on making a decision to have surgery! Have you decided what type/size implants you’re going to go with? Do you mind sharing who your PS is? Any other details you have to share would be interesting to know. I also had a similar procedure although I downsized with a lift. So I can understand how this must be an exciting time for you! I look forward to following your progress… :-)

So I decided to go with gel implants moderate profile. I'm just looking to havingmore youthful look. And I'm sorry I don't know what PS stands for

PS means plastic surgeon. To help insure the best results you want to make sure it’s a board certified “plastic surgeon”. Not just a “cosmetic surgeon”. Good luck. :-)

And yes he is a board-certified plastic surgeon and a board-certified surgery

Great! I look forward to following your progress. I also had a beat BA/BL, so I understand this must be an exciting time for you. Btw in case you’re not aware you can edit the title of your review to add additional info (I.e. implant type/size, etc.). Sometimes extra details and the title can draw more traffic into your review, especially some others looking to get the same type or size implant. Wishing you the best!

Please excuse my typos. Although we can edit our review titles we’re still not able to edit our messages for typos. LOL

Hi! I wanted to thank you for posting your journey. My procedure was yesterday and I referred back to your posts the entire time to set my expectations. I am well pleased so far. Recovery has been going perfectly.

Thank you. Just listen to your ps. It's going to be hard not to exercise when you're so used to it but you don't want to take the risk of bleeding.

I'm not really fully able to do the things that I was doing before surgery. One thing I didn't say in the last post was I am able to deadlift and that doesn't seem to bother me. My PS told me that I could go back to my usual after 6 weeks but I'm going to listen to my body. Honestly, my lower body can use the extra work

Went for my pre-op workup and all cleared for my procedure February 21st. Still don't have a time, but they told me they will call the day before. Most of my meds are waiting to be picked up. Paid in full. Can't wait to try the new sports bra on down below.
