Punch Excision to Get Rid of Piercing Holes
I got facial piercings done as a teenager and have long since removed them. The damage was done and I've had to live with two ungracious holes for the past 15 years. It was always something that bothered me when I looked at myself in the mirror so i've decided to do something about it. There aren't many reviews for this online so I called a few cosmetic surgeons and took an appointment for a consultation. The doctor suggested punch excision to get rid of the holes, and I decided to go ahead with this. The procedure was very short (around 20 minutes for both holes) and painless. I had sutures for a week, a bit of swelling and a bruise (I was told it doesn't usually do this but I bruise very very easily so not surprising for me). As of yet it's been a few days since I've removed the sutures and I'm over the moon! The doctor told me it takes a full year for the scars to fully heal but so far I'm very satisfied with the results.
