I have had a test patch of pulsed dye laser for some mild rosacea on the cheeks. There is a lot of bruising. Not sure whether it was worth it to get the whole area done. I had it done at SK:N clinics UK, and it was £50.00 for the test patch. This is how it looked day of procedure, 24 hours, 48 hours, and 72 hours after.

I had the same thing done and had bruising like that which didn't go away completely for 2 weeks. You can ask them to put it on different settings though which dont cause bruising (may or may not be as effective). I found that it was very effective - it stopped all redness to my cheeks completely. But after a few years the results have diminished :(
