I went to a tatto artist in Thailand after seeing some of her work over a period of weeks I was there. We discussed the tattoo several times and I sent her ideas of tattoos I liked and took a drawing it too. She came back with her own drawing the following week and we agreed onthis. On the day she said if it was ok with me, she wouldnt apply it like a transfer but would free draw and asked if she could add to it a little. Because I liked her other work I said yes. BIG mistake.

The tattoo that appeard was nothing like the drawing. I was gutted. I have left it 2 years and done a lot of research before deciding on what method of removal. I am going with Picosure. I have had 2 so far leaving 5 weeks in between each one. But I heal quickly and going to do 4 after this next one.

I used Emla cream an cover with cling film for about 90 minutes before I go and take 2 painkillers an hour before. I hardly felt a thing.

I can see what you were going for with the tattoo and it really sucks that it didn't turn out how you wanted. I'm in the same boat as you. As soon as my tattoo finished healing, I started treatments-- just got my second Picosure. I'm waiting 6 weeks between treatments. I look forward to your updates!

Oh my goodness the same thing happened to me!! Except in Toronto. The tatto came out nothing like I hoped it would and I've gone through 4 laser treatments already to get it removed. I'm going to switch over to picosure just because I hear good things about it though.

Hi..What treatment were you having before? Having looked at this site a lot in the last 18 months, ive really noticed that with picosure it also seems to leave your skin in a better state after. No blistering or bleeding.

Q switch laser at q-esthetics on yorkville. I had a lot of blisters after each treatment, but that's to be expected. It's also gotten much lighter since my first session. I took a break for about a year but I'm ready to go at it again, this time with picosure, because It's much fewer treatments.

Treatment 3 with Picoway

timpsyb
Ok so I found out with treatment number3 that in fact I am having Picoway, not Picosure at the moment as apparently Picoway is best for black. Then as they get to the old tattoo underneath which has some blues and greens, they will switch to Picoway which is better for colours.
Its going ok altough its strange to see the circle in the middle fading much fast than the rest. But this is the area that has 3 tattoos on it. An old one from 20 yars ago, a coverup from 5 years ago, and the one I had as above.
The areas that arent fading as much were bamboo tattoo only. The circle has bamboo and 2 needle tattoo but fading faster. Very odd.

Anyway, cant wait for treatment 4 in 2 weeks time. Decided to leave it a bit longer inbetween this time, 7 weeks, as read in many places that leaving it longer is much better.

I forgot to take a painkiller an hour beforehand and I could notice the difference. Def had more gritted teeth.

Ok, will update when I can.

It's fading nicely! What did you take for pain beforehand?

Hi. Thanks. I take parecetamol as your not supposed to take Aspirins, ibuprofens or naproxen as they can increase the bloodflow. And also emla cream 1 1/2 hours wrapped over with cling film really helps a lot.

Treatment Number 4

timpsyb
Ok, so this is 2 weeks after my 4th treatment. Bit disappointed as thought it would fade more although I know people say it does over the 6 weeks but I never seem to notice much after the first 10 days.
I have def noticed the difference with putting the numbing cream on 2 hours before instead of 1 which I did last time. The lazer is going deeper now and there was a bit more bleeding and scabbing this time but in general not bad. I always leave for 48 hours, then take the film off and vaseline 3 times a day for a week. Then bio oil for 2 weeks.

Hey, how you doing? I going to give you an adivice, if you allow me. It’s really better when you wait betwen the sessions. I noticed that my tattoo starts to fade afetr 20 days, when all the scabs are gone. Besides, you can get a hypopgmentation of you don’t space the sessions properly. Good luck and all the best for you
