3.5 weeks later my under eyes are still puffy which makes the wrinkles stand out even more than they did before. Between plasma fibroblasting and now this, I have done nothing but make my under eyes worse. So disappointing.

Puffy Under Eyes After Jelly Roll Botox
I had 12 units of botox under my eyes on 3/22/22 in the jelly roll to help reduce my under eye wrinkles. I believe everything went smoothly, but I did wake up to puffy under eyes the next day. It feels like swelling or fluid retention but definitely makes the wrinkles look more noticeable and pronounced. I know the botox hasn't taken full effect yet as it has been about 5 days. I am not sure how long this puffiness will last or if it is normal but I hope it goes down soon! The top picture is before and the second picture is with the puffiness/swelling. Anyone else go through this and how long does it take to go down?

I’m not seeing any difference so far.
no difference as far as wrinkles go, they are both bad in the before and after. But in the bottom photo you can tell my eyes are puffy because the wrinkles are thicker and more obvious which is maybe hard to capture in a photo but it's driving me nuts. I can definitely feel the puffiness still and it's been 9 days.
Wow that’s bad, I had my lasered many years ago and couldn’t be happier but you may need a surgical skin removal of your eyes. Stop spending money on quick fixes. Just get it done the right way.
Well thanks... surgical procedures are a pretty big decision, and I was doing what my doctors recommended as the least invasive route...
I’m willing to try laser since I’ve been looking into Botox for my ‘jelly rolls.’ do you mind sharing which laser you got?
Botox in that area stops the lymphatics. So all moisture in that area stagnates.
I wish my doctor told me that! Luckily it's all gone now!
The before photo looks like the after
The after photo is worse due to fluid accumulation. You can see the wrinkles are thicker and more defined.
True. It looked way better before. I hope you get it fixed with a better surgeon.
Yes I am aware that it looked way better before which is why I posted this in the first place.
And it was just Botox so it wore off and the fluid has gone away.
totally empathize....had botox on forehead a month ago and additional a week ago as thought it hadn't worked well.. now experiencing eyelid droop with dizziness. was told to use apraclonidine drops in eyes. just hope this goes away! never again!
oh gosh I'm sorry to hear that! I am sure all is well by now, but that is stressful while you're going through it!
