Don't Expect Much from Reveert Surgery Center in Puerto Vallarta Mexico !!! - Mexico, MX

I have had other procedures done out of the United States and have always been treated VERY well and have always been more than satisfied but this experience was NOT the same at all. I have to say the procedure itself was NOT painful in anyway but the care definitely was painful!! The International Patient Coordinator informed us that Dr. Nashielli was skilled and very sweet and caring in her demeanor. She is nice enough, BUT the caring part leaves when the payment is received! If these foreign surgeons want to entice Americans to come over for their services than they should offer some service! We arrived in a foreign country where we don't even speak their language you would think that the facility about to operate on you would at the very least arrange for you to be picked up at the airport and delivered to the initial consultation?!? But instead we were expected to find our way around the strange city and to get to a consultation immediately upon our arrival? But that was just the beginning of the poor service surgery was set for 9:30 am my fiance was taken to my room to wait for surgery to be completed and was instructed by the surgeon (she even took her cell phone number) that she would keep her informed and up dated on the progress. We were told it would be approximately a 4 hour surgery. I went into the surgery prep at 8:00 am and did not get to my room until 9:00 pm. My fiance was never updated and when she continued to try and find out what was going on finally got a report at 3 pm that they started late and everything was going fine? She never heard back again hours passed, my fiance asked for a glass of ice to drink a soda with and was refused even that small request, and finally at 5:30 the doctor told her surgery was over and went fine and I should return to my room in 30 minutes? I never made it back to the room until 9 pm, my fiance was just left sitting alone in a room with no updates they even refused her the tv remote until the patient was in the room?? HORRIBLE SERVICE !!!! NEVER AGAIN !! Please pass it along not to deal with Reveert no one deserves to be treated the way the did us !!!
