Ptosis surgery - lid successfully lifted & crease better matches “normal” eye

Two medically necessary surgeries in my left eye resulted in a pretty bad case of ptosis. The weakening of my lid continued to get worse to the point where my self-esteem was really suffering. I even refused to appear in family photos! I finally consulted with Dr. Massry based on a referral from my GP. My case was not exactly cut and dry. I had to have two surgeries. The first was temporarily successful but my muscle was incredibly stubborn and continued to droop. Massry didn't give up on me, though. I finally decided to go through with a second surgery, and am so glad I did. The lid was successfully lifted and the crease better matches my “normal” eye. His attention to detail and incredible focus has restored my self-esteem. I even posed for a few family pictures over our last vacation :-) I am grateful to Dr. Massry for restoring my confidence and brightening my vision.
