Eyelid & temporal ptosis repair 7 days ago failed? Don’t see much difference

Ptosis Repair (Failed?)

Hi,
7 days ago I got a ptosis repair on both eyelids and a temporal brow lift.
I am only 21.
Since I had surgery I don’t really see much of a difference with my eyes. I know I have a bit of swelling but I was expecting my eyes to open up a lot to create a nice eyelid with space between my pupil. Will they open a lot more with time or not really?
Please can somebody tell me what’s going on.

Hi! I've also had ptosis repair, though mine was only on one eye. I think since you're only 1 week po, there's still a ton of swelling, and it is clear from the photo. Give your body time to heal, try not to focus too much on what your eyes look like for the next 3-12 weeks. What helped me was talking a "progress" photo once a week, same lighting same angle, and around my 5month mark it was nice to scroll back and see how much I healed/ eyelids improved. Please don't stress too much, from what I can see you clearly have a great result so far, but just try to relax and allow your body to go through the healing process! :)
