Dr. Ray Taban is a World Class Surgeon - Revisional Ptosis

I was born with congenital ptosis in the right eye and I’ve had history of 2 previous ptosis surgeries done by other surgeons, the 2nd one made things much worse and left me with additional ptosis, significant asymmetry and eyelid that fluctuates. I researched online and booked in-person consultations with 3 oculoplastic surgeons including Dr. Ray Taban in the Los Angeles area during the month of April 2021. I decided to choose and go with Dr. Taban because of his impressive experience in revisional and complex surgeries. He clearly explained the complexity of my case however was confident that we could proceed with a 3rd try aiming for better resolution and improvement. He was also available in the following months for FaceTime consultations and was genuinely ready to answer questions and concerns prior to my surgery date. In September 2021 I flew all the way from Montreal, Canada to Beverly Hills to have the procedure done with Dr. Taban. The procedure went very well and healing was quite fast. The outcomes of my procedure was no more ptosis, significant improvement in asymmetry and no more feeling of eyelid fluctuating. He followed up with me on FaceTime one week and 3 months after surgery. I am very glad to have met and done this procedure with Dr. Taban, I think very highly of him and would definitely only go see him moving forward for anything related to the eye.
