Ptosis Correction

Dr. Goretti is amazing. I have had two failed ptosis surgeries with another doctor and thought that I could never get my eyes fixed. After thorough research, I immediately booked my consultation with Dr. Goretti. During my consultation, I noticed that she had keen eye for detail and identified things no doctor has ever told me, and this was on FaceTime too! I was super impressed and I felt so confident that she was going to be the one who can fix my asymmetrical eyes. I was so excited to see her and when I did meet her, she made me feel so comfortable and she was very realistic on what she can achieve during the surgery. Her staff (Caroline and Ella) were wonderful and extremely sweet and efficient. They gave me the assurance that I will be in good hands and despite my anxiousness and uncertainty of possibly another failed ptosis surgery, Ella hugged me before surgery to make sure I was going to be okay. I would say that the only part that hurt was the numbing injections. After that, I did not feel a thing. Unfortunately, one of my eyes had a complication as it reacted to one of the ingredients in the numbing injection, which resulted in my eye to appear lifted during the surgery- giving the illusion that it was symmetrical to the other eye. My other eye was perfect (exactly what I wanted). It was not until after the numbing injection wore off, did we know what the problem was. Dr. Goretti said this was so rare and she immediately identified the issue and researched more in depth about the complications. Nonetheless, Dr. Goretti immediately offered to provide a revision after the swelling went down. She insisted that the revision will be free. I agreed because I trust her 1000%, plus it wasn’t her fault- I have bad genes :( When I came back for my revision, she used a different numbing injection without that ingredient my eye reacted to, and this time, the surgery was a success. My eye healed in a week! She fixed it in 30 minutes or so! All in all, I truly believe that Dr. Goretti is a genuine doctor who cares about her patients. She reached out to me on a weekly basis after the surgery just to follow up on how I am doing. She surpassed my expectations and I would recommend her to anyone. She changed my life :)
