As you know, I have an eyelid asymmetry and ptosis and I went to dr. Dan Georgescu from Zetta clinic. Now he works at Provita and Oftapro.
He operated me on for the problem with my eyelid asymmetry ,but used another protocol for the operation, blepharoplasty ,a protocol not suitable for my problem(he had to operate on the muscles of the eyelid ,not to cut the eyelid skin).
Obviously ,the results were zero. He wanted to undergone another procedure, mullerectomy, trying to descend my right eyelid and the results were zero this time too.

I'm so sorry you had the wrong procedure. This same problem happened to me also. I'm seeking a dr to do a revision. I know we can ever get the skin that was removed back, but I hope you can get your eyes improved. Thank you for warning others about this dr.

Sorry to read you are unhappy. However frankly I think it's not really constructive or correct to call someone a swindler, greedy and a liar – heavy judgements without proper foundation. Coincidentally I underwent surgery with Dr. Georgescu too recently.
I'm not at all a proponent of this web posting since it gives a one-sided impression after all (the surgeon can't step in and give his view). But I can't deny I'm quite worried about the aftermath of my surgery and it has been hardly possible to get any answer from Dr. Georgescu about post-operative concerns since I left Bucharest 1 week after surgery. This was the complete opposite prior to surgery and while in Bucharest, and I'm genuinely and increasingly worried. I just hope this worry will prove to be unfounded. Dr. G. prescribed me an antibiotic cream: do you remember how long he let you use it? My eyes keep irritating and I'm not sure if I can keep using it continuously, but without it I experience eye strain.
Concerning your unhappiness my advice would be to seek several second opinions. (Next to my daytime job I run a company in which I work with cosmetic surgery patients, and my motto always is to consult as much as possible. Cynically though, given lack of time/terminal illness of family/inability to travel overseas I did not follow my own advice and I am literally reminded of why I always advice this). Gather opinions. I don't like to name surgeons on public forums and only do so in private (to avoid concerns about potential entanglement of interests/motives) but look into surgeons recognized by peers, rather than going by flashy websites/Facebook pages etc. Look into publications; approach the authors. Some of the most respected surgeons out there don't have any internet presence. However, they will often reply to email and invite you for a face-to-face consult. (The UCLA may be one place to approach). There is one surgeon I have in mind in particular, but as said: I don't want to mention names here. He is however the pioneer of many oculoplastic surgery techniques, and has trained many recognized oculoplastic surgeons and practices in hospital setting in the US. He hardly has an internet presence, however he is certainly willing to take a look at pictures and give honest input. Good luck. (Sorry for mistakes; I'm posting from my telephone).

Could I ask: the refund issue you describe aside, since as said I don't want to judge about anything from a distance without knowing the facts, but was Dr. G. at least responsive and willing to listen to and give feedback to your concerns, giving serious suggestions? Frankly I have never experienced anything like what I'm experiencing these days - and I work with (international) cosmetic surgery patients and the other side of the spectrum, the surgeon, constantly. Prior to surgery and in Bucharest I really thought I had found a very talented and skilled surgeon with a great, caring demeanor on top of it: a rarity, in other words. I even wanted to take family to him to undergo eye surgery. I'm amazed about how things are progressing currently in the aftermath of my surgery when the result seemed not what we had anticipated. I don't understand it and as said I hope this is a misunderstanding but I'm worried.

I made my previous two posts out of worry about the result (that increased when reading this review). Now, unfortunately I can't remove the posts made(?) Another reason I don't like these internet discussions. Since I can't remove these two posts I feel it would be fair to mention that meanwhile I spoke to Dr. G.. I still have some concerns about the result (it may be more of a longterm process than expected and thus far unfortunately the result is not as anticipated) but hopefully we can resolve it in the future. I did get more much appreciated insight in the consult, so that in itself is great. I just wish you could remove these posts made in a moment of concern (that of course, anyone in recovery would experience) seeking answers and feedback to concerns: it would be more fair to both the surgeon and patient. I feel the public web may not be the place to express concerns - but sometimes it is difficult to get the feedback needed through other means, I guess. With that regard: some flexibility when it comes to removal of posts seems suitable.
Thank you for sharing!
