I found Girin on Google, and chose them due to their smooth and friendly communication, and trust from reviews and seeing photo results online. I chose ptosis and upper bleph surgery as my ptosis covered some of my vision in my left eye, and I was told by my doctor it will get worse as I get older so I really wanted to get it fixed. Also, this affected my eyelids as they were uneven. The person helping with translation was very reassuring about the process and about Dr. Kim’s work. Additionally, I was able to fully express my concerns and what I wanted to Dr. Kim, so I felt safe to proceed. Healing process was very easy - a lot easier than I expected. I was able to continue my daily activities 2 days after surgery, and was able to go out in public without being self conscious ~1 week after surgery. I am one month post surgery now, and my results are exactly what I wanted. I feel my eyelids look natural and this surgery helped solved my earlier concerns. Regarding support, I had questions about 3 weeks after my surgery, and Girin was very responsive to them.
I decided to have ptosis surgery because my condition was not improving on its own, and it had started to bother me in my daily life.
After my consultation with Dr. Kim, I felt confident moving forward with the surgery. He was very experienced, explained the procedure clearly, and made sure I understood what to expect throughout the process.
The surgery itself was much smoother than I had expected. My recovery during the first week was also easier than expected. I was able to go outside within a few days. I experience little to no minor bruising overall.
By the end of the first week, I was able to open my eyes much more comfortably and had resumed regular activity. Around the 2-week mark, the swelling continued to improve. 3 months after surgery, my results are exactly what I wanted. The healing process has been straightforward and easy to manage.
