Botched Surgery

ORIGINAL POST

Botched Surgery

Originally came to Dr. Sniegowki looking for help fixing a previously botched surgery for a ptosis repair on my left eye. I was left with a scar, no crease, and significant asymmetry. Dr. Sniegowski stated that he would be able to address the issue by just doing a blepharoplasty on my left eye. As a 20 yr old, I was desperate for normalcy and took the chance. I wish I hadn’t. I knew right after my surgery something was wrong. It was very clear the difference in skin I had on each of my eyelid causing the asymmetry to be worse. My right eyebrow also began to become hyperactive to compensate for the left side. Instead of admitting the mistake, I was given multiple rounds of fillers and other injections to try to help with the asymmetry costing me even more with no luck. Three years later, thousands of dollars out, and I still can’t live a normal life. If you have serious/complex eye issues please go to someone who is very knowledgeable about your specific needs. A botched surgery can be worse than your initial issue.
