Asymmetry after ptosis surgery on right eye via internal surgery under eyelid

ORIGINAL POST

Ptosis Surgery D+15: Asymmetrical Result.

Hello, I’ve had a ptosis surgery on right eye via internal surgery under the eyelid ( muller levator muscle resection ). After two weeks, my eyes look asymmetrical, the right one is way bigger. Don’t know what to think about, it’s been only two weeks but I was not expecting such a difference between both eyes. I feel like my left eyelid is now drooping and also to have “extra” skin on the right one. I’ve had very blurred vision for 10 days but it is getting better even though it s not a 100 per cent. My cornea has been scratched by the stitches which explains the blurry vision.
Future is not predictable but I’d like to have some feedbacks on my situation.
Thanks loads,
Sofia

Hi could you post an update? Did you need to get surgery on the other eye? I am currently experiencing the same issue
