Came here for PRP. I’ve only had PRP micro needling before never, never PRP injections, but they advised it was Korean style injections to the face. I was very nervous. She took me on the back. Took my blood and spinned it. I was beyond worried thst this would go wrong that I started to cry cuz I just knew this was going to end terribly wrong from how she was injecting. My concern was lower face jowls and sagging skin. I’ve literally been to a ton of places for help and nothing has help. I experienced sagging after doing Ultherapy and that was the treatment that was suggested for improvement at this clinic. Been trying to improve ultherapy sagging from which was fine 2 years ago and been trying to improve it ever since. Well she started shooting me up with PRP. I felt like there was zero method to her placement. Immediate visible lumps throughout my face. Tears came down my face and I guess it was funny to her. She said I worry too much. When I looked in the mirror I saw a monster and thinking to myself wtf have I done. She said they would go down in 20 min. Well 24 hours later they haven’t gone down. It hurts. I’m swollen with puffy face and have lumps throughout my face. My jowls look worse than before. I called and they said it will go away. This sucks. Please help. Is this normal. Will it go down. I can feel the lumps throughout my face and see them. My smile is a bit deformed now as well.

could you please update how your results were after this? I had the same thing happen to me after laser treatment melted my fat pads leaving me with saggy skin and big hollows. I am booked in for prp injections in two days
I had to wait it out. I massaged my face literally all day every day for the lumps to go away from the PRP injections. Will never do that again. I still have loss of skin elasticity and sagginess that I have been trying to correct. I have been trying Scarlet RF. I have done 3 treatments all a month apart. I personally don’t see any results. But of course every place you seek treatment say they see it. I also tried CO2 laser.. that was a disaster. Wouldn’t recommend it. The provider ensured me that it would completely change my face. All these people just want to sell you. None of these things I’ve done have helped. All it’s done is coat be a ton of money. Thousands and thousands of dollars down the drain.
I vigorously had to massage my face every day, until the lumps and unevenness went down. The injections did not help resolve my initial problem with skin sagging / skin elasticity. Maybe it worked for others, but it was a waste of money for me.
PRP injections typically are safer than normal fillers. Because it is your own blood filtrate, you are not likely to have a adverse reaction and the results will subside pretty quickly as your body removes the PRP. If you are worried like this, maybe you should see a dermatologist and get their opinion and help.
It didn’t help at all. I guess I was on of the very few that reacted negatively with this treatment.
Hi, sorry that happened to you. I have heard PRP injections are great for some but have no effect in others.
It’s gamble - you never know what will work, or not work unless - you try it unfortunately. Treatment I now know not to repeat.
