My PRP Hair treatment with Dr Cho. Spring, TX

My PRP Hair treatment with Dr Cho

larry832
WORTH IT$2,400
After 2 months of searching I have decided on Dr Cho to do my treatment. I have called or consulted with everywhere I could find in my area and felt he was the best choice for me. After all my researching I realized that it is better to spend the extra money and see a board certified ps for the treatment instead of a medspa. I was originally going to schedule with a medspa but after 3 attempts to set appointment for treatment I thought it was a sign to explore my options and am very happy I did.

I can't see significant changes I am afraid.

I think you've lost too much hair already and maybe you should opt for the best possible hair transplant if you can afford it. You might be able to get some sort of hairline and get some hair spread around elsewhere.

Honestly was super breeze procedure, the machine blowing cold air and numbing lotion made it to where I only felt pressure on my head but no real pain. Dr Cho has great technique in administering the injections so it's very tolerable.

Does he add ACELL to his PRP treatment or is it once every couple months you have to go back?
October 26, 2017
I go ever 4 weeks, forgot to ask today if he added Acell or not.

have you noticed any improvement in terms of hair regrowth so far although it maybe too soon to see results. are you using minxidil also?

Not using minoxidil or anything, I felt I could see a difference in the first month.

Right after pics. Precedure was done in 15-20 minutes but set up took hour to get ready. They first took 28 ml of blood draw then let the numbing lotion set in on my scalp. The nurse set up the syringes and everything on a tray next to me while the machine that blows the cold air powered up and stabilized ready to blow. Dr Cho came in explained what he felt was best way to inject explained which prp was going where on my head and why then I was done. Everything was over before I knew and I was walking out door to go on with my day. Very pleased with the way Dr Cho and his staff conducted everything. Tomorrow I'm dropping by to sit under the laser for a session, a bonus his office adds to all his hair treatment patients.

What was the cost of the procedure?

2400, worth every penny. That includes 3 treatments 4 weeks apart. Call his office and ask for Rachel or Gina, they will happily answer any questions you have.

You should get an FUE hair transplant in Turkey, $3,000 and it includes PRP!! with flights it's total around $4,000, best price on the market! + the price is the same no matter what number of grafts :D

PRP never worked for me. I paid $5300 at Carolina Men's clinic in Charlotte NC for three procedures. The PRP procedure is truly snake oil.

I could not agree more. I had considered PRP for hair but when it failed to produce results in other applications (facial injections and O shot) I wad not convinced it did anything at all and if it did it was very minimal at best...:
