Impressed with my New Hairline
WORTH IT
About a year after my hair transplant, I decided to go to Dr. Mokhtare for PRP to help improve thickness and overall density.
I was mostly happy with my results, but I still felt like certain areas looked thinner than I wanted, especially under bright lighting or when my hair was styled a certain way. It wasn’t obvious to everyone else, but I noticed it, and it bothered me enough to look into options that weren’t as invasive as doing another procedure.
I had heard mixed things about PRP, so I went in a little skeptical. The process itself is pretty straightforward—they draw your blood, spin it down, and then inject it into the scalp. The injections are definitely not painless, but they’re quick and very tolerable overall.
Now, my hair looks more dense and less “see-through,” especially in the areas that used to bother me the most. It kind of helped bring everything together and refine my overall result.
If you’ve had a hair transplant and feel like you’re close but not completely satisfied with the thickness, PRP is honestly a really good add-on. It’s subtle but effective, and for me, it made a noticeable difference in how my hair looks and feels.
