27 year old losing hair, running out of options, went ahead with the PRP + ACell

I have been loosing hair over the past 8 years and have tried Saw Palmetto, Biotin, Rogaine but at a very inconsistent basis. I have a receding hair line as well and a developing bald spot. If I don't use a concealer like Caboki then my scalp throughout shows. Anyways, last month I saw a video on PRP + ACell and immediately contacted multiple Cosmetic Surgeons.
My decision came down to those offering PRP with ACell as it has added benefit along with the Care Credit option. My options came down to Dr. Wise who offers 3 injections 4-6 weeks apart and another well known Cosmetic Surgeon in NYC who is more pricey but says one injection is enough with a booster 15 months later and that no other products including Minoxidil would be needed after treatment. Though it sounded too good to be true with mixed reviews online I would have gone with him if it were have been in my budget or had added the second injection/booster sooner rather (2 months) than later (15 months).
I went with Wise after I consulted with a Cosmetic Surgeion in Las Vegas who told me to ask Cosmetic Surgeon offering PRP what centrifuge is being used along with how many mL of blood will be drawn out. According to him Megellan is hospital grade and the strongest available at the moment and that a minimum of 50ml of blood should be drawn out. According to him some Surgeons draw out less than 50 requiring per month injections. Its a money making scheme. Wise had the Megellan centrifuge and he drew out 100ml from my body. Also I like the idea of multiple injects as opposed to one because I feel you are getting the added dose which would target hairs at different points of the growth cycle.
I went for the procedure, staff was great, nice facility. Wise was very realistic and told me to take Propecia as well because of the continued DHT effects. Wise was realistic with the results to the point I was like 'why am i spending all this money.' I wont be taking Propecia because the fear of side effects. I was told not to expect a full head of hair but would help with the follicles remaining. The other cosmetic surgeon was optimistic to the point that I felt I should have gone with him. Nonetheless, Wise at the end felt a better option because there is no guarantee with this thing. At most, it will take you back to how your hair was 2 years ago.
During procedure, only wait time was when blood was spun in the centrifuge. The actual injection portion was literally 2 minutes. It felt like I was only given 35 injections but was told it was 75. Not doubting the guy, I guess the lidocaine in my head made it seem much less. Wish it was slower, would make me feel I got my moneys worth haha. After the injection, the assistant carried out the micro derm process where I was pricked with multiple needles to allow the PRP to get in through the pores.
There was pain in my scalp where I had been injected as well as crazy swelling. Make sure not to wear a hat like I did because my forehead was so tender it puffed it out making me look like an alien. Took about 2.5 days for my forehead to get to normal size. 2 weeks later I have occasional pain in my scalp. Downside of going ahead with a procedure like this. Honestly I'm fed up with losing hair, i don't wanna go bald so it doesn't hurt trying this out. As long as PRP can maintain what I have and bring some energy to my hair I will be a happy camper. Regarding Wise and his facility I would give him 5 stars but now awaits the treatment itself. He has the proper equipment and all and I left satisfied but I just hope PRP + ACell is indeed a breakthrough I am looking for and my body reacts well. I still can't say how I'm reacting as there is still same level of shedding, like 15 hairs post daily shower.
I will certainly take a pic on post.

I saw Dr. Wise too on 3.27.17 for prp (no aCell), and agree there was minimal pain and everyone there was pleasant and kind. I do have some swelling that traveled to my left eye (after waking up this morning) but I'm hoping a little ice will help.. I'm 33 with diffused alopecia/androgric alopecia (still trying to figure out what it means).
Thank you for sharing your experience. Hope your results are quick! ♡

just an fyi get a Jack Lalanne juicer (I haven't used mine in years, but it is the most efficient way to juice an onion without pulp) and start using onion juice treatments 3 to 5 times a week. I leave it on all day when I work from home and especially when I go for a run. Right now I'm using three different methods yellow onion & extra virgin olive oil (organic, yellow onion/Garlic/EVOO, and yellow onion/raw honey. It will take two months to notice the results but it does work. Google it and youtube it. btw. use yellow onions since it's the onion with the highest sulfur content.
Thanks for sharing! How long is it supposed to take before you see your results?
