A Lil over 1 week post op tummy tuck/lipo

So... it's been a little over a week since my tummy tuck/lipo and it's been a crazy roller coaster ride.

This past week has been insane for me. I am able to get up and walk around but right when I get up i'm completely bent over and gotta straighten myself out. I can stand straight only if my knees are bent some but if I've been up walking for around 2 mins then my lower back starts to hurt so bad and I have to grab something and bend over and breathe or sit down. I'm not sure why it hurts so bad but I'm imagining it's because I have weak lower back muscles. Whew. It's painful.

I still have both drains in. Hopefully they get to come out this week along with my belly button stitches.

I sleep on the recliner still. It is way uncomfortable to even attempt to lay on my side or back in the bed. In fact the other day I had a melt down and cried because I was miserable and just wanted to sleep on my bed and was thinking I shouldn't have done this surgery because of the recovery. Ugh.. but I'm sure I will be happy when I'm healed. I will update with some photos. :)

2 day post op...

Well it's been 2 days since my procedure. It still seems so surreal.

On 3/7 I was finished around 12:30p and stayed in recovery until around 9:30pm before I had to get up and go to my room for the night. I was in pain but was on a lot of drugs so I slept off and on all day.

Getting up from the bed to the chair for the first time I thought I was going die. It was difficult. Around 1 to 2 am my catheter came out. Getting up to go to the bathroom was difficult. I got released around 7am on Saturday.

I came home and just slept off and on. Taking my pain meds like I should be. The pain isn't that bad fir day 2 except for when I get up to go to the bathroom. But once I'm up I am okay for the most part.

Hopefully I can take pics and take a shower tomorrow. :)
