At the swollen Frankenstein stage but they are growing on me. Looking at the before pictures, Dr Plamondon has worked a miracle.

Pics before weight loss
QB35June 1, 2017
Was just going through real self Q&A and found this pic pre my 40lb weigh lost. Wow looks like I didn't need a reduction after all. Ladies if you are really contemplating this surgery I would highly recommend losing those extra pounds for better results. Will post after pics once all the bruising and tapes are gone.

Hey, nice to see another Dr Plamondon patient. Not a lot of us here! I also had a breast lift w/Dr. Plamondon last year. I really liked her personal approach and am very happy with my results. I really liked that she does her own stitching and is very meticulous. I too was pretty swollen for at least 2-3 weeks after surgery but they finally relaxed and settled. I have followed her rec's on sports bras to wear to maintain results. A year later the scars are still fading but I expected that as I have pretty pale skin. Looking forward to seeing your results! Hope you are recovering well.

Thanks doing well so far. Glad you were pleased with the results. Dr. P is the best. I'm loving them more each day.

What did you do for weight loss?

Hi just seeing your comment. I started maintaining a good dairy using my the my fitness pal ap.
Also exercised 3 to 4 days per week, 30 to 40 minutes on the elliptical. Should definitely try working with the ap, it keeps you on track.

Anxiously Awaiting Post Op Apt
QB35May 28, 2017
So it's now day 5 after surgery. I have my post Op appointment in two days. Feeling ok in terms of pain and I'm completely off all pain medication. Still taking antibiotics - 4 per day for seven days. These are doing a number on me but it's for the best. I've read too many horror stories about infections. Following instructions and not taking a shower (bottom half only). Feeling kinda gross so can't wait to get the bandages off.
My main concern at this point is swelling. Breast seen extra swollen when I wake up on the morning and lasts all day. They seem to be getting bigger not smaller ??. I didn't get the dreaded drains and the doctor told hubby that I lost a lot of blood during surgery. Just hoping that too much is not gathered there. Doctor told me to take it easy, sit up as much as possible. Anyone else experiencing progressive swelling?

Are you sleeping proped up on some pillows? I was certainly very swollen and bruised. I believe it's pretty normal unless one breast is significantly larger than the other. (Could be a hematoma). I do think you would be having quite a bit of pain if that was the case. You can always call your surgeon if you are worried. Good luck!

Thanks. Saw the doc today. Swelling has gone down. They are small, cute and perky. Will post pics soon.
