34 Y.o., 3 Breastfed Kids, Wanting to Get Sientra Round Anatomical but Will 370cc Be Too Big for Me? - Providence, RI
ORIGINAL POST
Hello, I went for a consult a few weeks ago. I am...
WORTH IT$8,500
Hello, I went for a consult a few weeks ago. I am currently a 34"C" (but at Victoria's Secret I wear a 34D). I would like to be a full "D". I have breastfed 3 babies and I would like to get back some of the fullness I lost through the years (not necessarily from Breastfeeding only, but weight loss and gain, birth control pills, etc.) So I was recommended to get 370cc Sientra round anatomical implants subglandular, inframammary incision. I tried out a 350 sizer while in the office and I felt I wouldn't want to be any bigger than that. The doctor came in and suggest 370cc and he wouldn't go much smaller than that to create a more fuller and perkier look. I know he said I had pseudo ptosis and I told him I was not interested in a breast lift surgery at this time since I feel my boobs are nice, just a bit deflated than before. I have to mention that i weigh 142 and I am 5'7. I am trying to lose about 5-10 lbs and I have been reluctant to lose weight because I always lose it in my breasts first.

Thank you, yours look awesome and the difference in size is literally a sliver. My dr showed me the 55cc implant and it's hardly anything but a sliver. So no regrets!

No regrets! Just moments of wonder! I don't think it would have made a big difference but still i let my mind wander :). Did you end up going over the muscle?

May 29, 2015
Yes I had overs. I was kindve happy about that because it's less painful, etc. I went to the Dr the other day and I told him my concern about my left nipple being lower and he looked at my before photo and said it was slightly lower before too(not enough to correct). I was never as aware of my breasts as I am now so I feel bad nitpicking but at this time I am focusing on that body part like crazy. Are you allowed to sleep on your side. My doctor said I shouldn't ever sleep on my side to protect my investment.

I think i started sleeping on my side at one month, i am a side sleeper, always have been! I think my dr said it was okay when it was comfortable, i do use a down pillow under my side though which really helps. I think if my dr advised against it i would have probably not gone through with it. It is so automatic for me. I dont feel like it has affected my results.

I have my mommy makeover with Dr. Z, in 3 days. How was your experience with him? How is you recovery going at this time?

June 16, 2015
Hi, Dr Z knows his stuff! I am very happy with the outcome and I did have some concerns post op (that were all normal but for me it was strange and new)... He is very precise and direct. I felt at times I was asking a stupid question because I'm sure he hears the same questions all the time... But he reassured me and I knew he knew what he was doing even though I'm the type that needs to question and research on my own like crazy anyways. I felt that in the end I wanted a surgeon who was the best rather than a surgeon who talked a lot of game if you know what I'm saying. I'm sure he will make you look beautiful. Good luck on your recovery!

I know he mentioned that during the initial recover of my beast lift + implant that he prefers that no bra is worn and that he tapes them up pretty well that it is like wearing a bra. Was that the same for you? And di he still give you a bra to put on after the initial taped up time? Sorry to bother you.

Hello, I was taped like in my photo with a bandeau for one week. I didn't have a lift so your instructions may be different. After a week I was allowed to wear a cheap bra to start counting that swelling would go down and reveal the true cup size. I have a friend who had a Breast lift and her mom had a tummy tuck with Dr Z and they both were very happy with the results! Scarring was not an issue and they look beautiful (her husband can't tell).... For a lift I would imagine you will need the tape and stitches longer than a week? He would be able to tell you. I took the recommended vitamin c and I healed faster! I was off pain meds two days post op, I also had an umbilical hernia done at the same time and I had those stitches for 3 weeks!

Doing great. I am up and about. Able to get up and sit pretty much on my own. The miralax finally kicked in, so I am happy about that. Had my first post-op on wednesday and they removed most stitches and redid all my taping. I was so happy to see how cute my smaller nipples were. Honestly never even gave the size of my nimples any though. I just assumed that they would be the same, so I was pleasantly surprised. Looking forward to my drains coming out next week. I got high profile Sientra textured shaped round base silicone gel 320 cc implant with a lollipop lift. I did the TABA mommy makeover with the tummy tuck. I am looking forward to seeing more of the swelling go down so I can get a better visual of my results. Thanks for asking about my surgery. ;)

So one week post you are doing well! That's good to hear! I was recommended to have the TABA but I felt like it was too much surgery for me all at once. (I have little ones I have to lift )...but I know someday I would love to have a nice tight abdomen again! KIT and I hope to see your results

My kids are over the age of 7 so it made it an easier decision to do both. Healing well. My only concern is that I am having these sharp burning pains in my left breast. The pain seems to worsen in the morning and at night. I'm hoping this is normal. Looked it up and seems like it could be. But will discuss with Dr Z on my next spot later this week.

June 29, 2015
Hello, yes I had those pains for about 10 days and then it totally subsided... It freaked me out too. I could feel my implant knocking on the nipple from the inside and that went away shortly after (between day 7-10)
