WOW but OUCH!

I’ve suffered from hormonal acne for 13 years and after finally getting under control with lifestyle changes, diet supplements regimen etc, I was left with textured skin (ice picked and rolling scars to be exact). I've tried chemical peels and microneedling for the past two years however saw very minimal changes, so it was time to bring out the big guns. I was visiting family in beirut, Lebanon and because of the inflation of the currency the once 1,000 dollar treatment became the equivalent to 200 now!  Right before my appointment I applied Emla numbing cream. The treatment itself wasn’t painful at first it would just scare me and I would jolt in my seat, however towards the end it was feeling uncomfortably hot! I had a hard time letting go of the cool air that was used with the laser. The next hour was one of the worst hours of my life, it felt as though I had stuck my face up the sun’s butt. It burned so much I actually felt my blood sugar dropping (have something to eat before). After that hour past it just became discomfort for the next 2 days.  I looked so scary my niece would run away and cry whenever I entered the room. It wasn't until the 4th day that i felt somewhat comfortable to leave the house.  However I am so so pleased with the results! It has only been 6 days yet I already see a massive improvement in the quality of my skin. It looks healthier and definitely smoother than my old complexion. My superficial scars were gone and my deep scars were so blurred they became superficial.  I don't think I will be repeating this treatment for my whole face, Since I'm so happy with my results. The dermatologist also informed me my skin will continue to produce collagen for the next 6 months, meaning my results will continue improving.
