Huge mistake to come here
Do not come here if you value your face and skin. I had laser resurfacing done here and they burnt and scarred me and then proceeded to deny any damage being done. I regret coming here so much and cry every time I look in the mirror. I have barely left my house in six months and never without a mask.
Would Give Zero Stars if Possible
DO NOT trust your face to Dr. Alan Levy or Levy Dermatology. I went to see Dr. Levy for some fine lines around my mouth. I was expecting to get filler but he convinced me that I needed to treat the underlying cause of the fine lines, inadequate collagen production, with laser resurfacing. He told me how I was the perfect candidate for the procedure due to my fair skin and how he had done this so many times before that I had no reason to worry. He told me it was IMPOSSIBLE for me to scar at the depth he would be performing the resurfacing unless my dog scratched my face while I was healing. He told me my only real risk was hyperpigmentation if I was not careful about sun protection while healing. Dr. Levy said my "downtime" would be 7-10 days and I would be a little pink for a few weeks after.
Immediately post procedure I was a bloody mess. He assured me this was normal but it should've been my first sign of what was to come. Two weeks post procedure my skin started to break down. I developed indented lines, weird wrinkling that wasn't there before, pits, pock marks and bumpy raised areas. I went to see Dr. Levy and he completely denied even seeing anything. He told me I was fine and still just "healing". Over the next couple of weeks my skin just got worse. I emailed, called, and went back to see Dr. Levy. Again and again he told me nothing was wrong. He reiterated that it would be IMPOSSIBLE for me to scar from the procedure. At five weeks post procedure as my skin continued to get worse, I reached out to a dermatologist in another state who was a close family friend. I sent pictures of my face and he confirmed what I had suspected, Dr. Levy had burnt and scarred me during the laser procedure. When I called Dr. Levy hysterical about what the dermatologist had said, he told me if I no longer trusted him that he recommend I find a new a doctor.
Since then, I have seen five different dermatologists who have all confirmed the immense damage done by this procedure and Dr. Levy. Allowing this man to touch my face has been the biggest mistake of my life. My skin will never be the same. I am scarred all over. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from Levy Dermatology and Alan Levy.
