I had mild scarring and large pores on my face. The dr and senior consultant thought this will be the best treatment for me. It’s left me with new deep scarring and widening of old scars! Help me!!!!!

Proufound RF is similar to other types of microneedling with a Thermage RF heat. It is usually not good on skin that scars easily. I suggest microdermabrasion which slowly slugs off skin scars, a chemical peep if your skin color is the right type, Fraxel skin ablation to remove scarring, and CO2 treatment to smooth and remove scarring. For microneedling and RF treatment you need a thick, resilient skin type. Sorry for your worsened condition,

Hi, my skin looks the same. My scars are really deep and big. I’ve tried micro-needling with prp and non ablative lasers which has done nothing to my skin. I feel hopeless

I’ve had 4 Prp micro needling sessions, 2 non ablative photofractional laser and one CO2 ablative laser all in which didn’t give me much improvement. I’d say altogether I’ve resulted in 15-20% improvement. The widening of scars and deep indentation is still there.

I’ve had 1 co2 fractional laser, 6 PRP injections with microneedling and 4 resurfx non ablative laser done on myself. My scars have soften but a lot of widening of old scars and new indents are still very visible. Feeling hopeless
