Jut had it done today. Had my face, neck and chest. The staff gave me a Valium before Han, the numbing cream. Then the doctor did the numbing shots. That was really the only uncomfortable part. He procedure itself was pretty easy, painless and quick... maybe an hour. Afterwards my face was numb, had a few bruises and som mild swelling. I'm writing this about 7 ours after I was done. I feel a little twinge. Not too bs tough. Som swelling, minor bruising. I'm assuming he Bromalane And arnica gel are helping. Frankly, I'll be out and about tomorrow. With he required mask I doubt none will even look twice. Hoping for good results! So far so good.

How long did they say recovery takes?

Up to10 days for bruising to be gone. Swelling up to 5 days. But I'm 30 hours post procedure and have minimal swelling and minor bruising. With the exception of one bruise , I could easily cover the bruises with makeup. The bruising is mainly on my neck. My face has little pinprick bumps from the needles. I did make sure to stop all fish oil, and NSAIDS a week before he procedure. I also took bromelain and arnica pills two days before and the day of. Still using arnica gel 3 times a day on my face and neck .

That's good news, I thought it would take longer. You're smart to be prepared. Did the Dr. help or did you research? I'm excited to see you healed, you'll look fab.

My Doctor did advise me about staying off blood thinners ( ibuprofen, aspirin, naproxen, etc) and fish oils for the week before because they cause more bruising. I ok bromelain ( pineapple enzymes) and arnica gel. You can also take arnica in pill form . They help with swelling and bruising. I'm also sleeping with my head raised. I think all of the above has helped. Today I look pretty normal. Bruises are mild. Skin looks like I have mild acne. All in all an easy recovery.

Day 4.

Still a tiny bit of swelling above my eyes. Bruising is fading. Bumps are going down. I feel perfectly comfortable out in public. I have a few sore pots.. mainly on my forehead where there is little between the skin and the bone. So far this has been easy. Now.. tighten skin, tighten!!
