Delayed Dryness After PRK, Not Right Away TLC Indianapolis Awful

I have started having dryness at 4 months after the procedure. I was given allergy drops, and dryness went away and now it has started again 7 months after. Has anyone else experienced this? I have been given Restasis and on it for 2.5 weeks. I know this takes a long time to work. Has anyone used Restasis for dryness following the procedure? Has it worked? Has anyone experienced delayed dryness and it has then gone away? I am terrified. I already am not happy with the results or the doctors at TLC in Indianapolis IN. I do not have crisp vision and am now a bit far sighted. I really want to believe the dryness is unrelated since it was so long after the procedure and I find NOTHING online similar to my situation which I do not know if that is good or bad.

I had the same problem with excruciating pain from dryness. Yes I used Restasis, it was definitely helpful. The other medication out there is called Xiidra. I thought this one was more affective but it also has a horrible aftertaste even though it’s going in your eye.
So how are you now? How long after the procedure did your dryness start? We’re you dry before? I got lower plugs less than a week ago and hey have made a tremendous difference. Also doing Restasis. It’s what my insurance pays for. The evening drop is way more painful than the morning. Morning feels pretty good actually. I look forward to hearing back from you
What about your vision now?Are you seeing things better now or not?Am 1 month post op Trans Prk patient and feeling the same as you had described and am concerned about vision not getting any better.
Make sure to use drops all the time. I have gotten used to my vision I guess. I need prescription reading glasses now and think I had found an acceptable prescription. So I am putting glasses on and off all day. The dryness has improved. I spent a year and lots of money to deal with it. I get IPL to help the inflammation I am sure was made worse by the procedure.
