Hi my TT Sistas. So, like most people on this site I have been obsessed with reading, looking and dreaming of my day. I am so proud of all of you that have taken your lives back and decided to make a change in you. I am so relieved to know that with time, patients and all of you wonderful ladies that I too will have that feeling of accomplishment.
Over the past few days i have been doing ALOT of research. Reading posts on Docs and trying to make appointments. And.....I was able to get 4 consults scheduled between tomorrow and Wednesday. Here are my lists of PS. I would appreciate any responses to these PS and PICs if available. Here goes....

I pray for great consults and hope that I will be able to get my scheduled surgery before mid May so I can celebrate my 42nd birthday on June 1st without being laid up.
Again ladies thank you for sharing your lives you are are Superfabulous!! I will begin loading some before pictures tonight. On my way downstairs for my 8th day of Insanity, then to weight watchers meeting and then the gym. I have lost 20 pounds so far and i want to loose about 10 more before my surgery. I tell you that Insanity is INSANE but i can see and feel the changes in my body. Talk with you later Sistas.....

Hi Ladies. So here is the update after my consults...
Dr. Alkon - I decided to cancel the appointment.
Dr. Lonergan - His staff was very nice and informative. Once you undress the Dr examines you, answers any questions you may have and sends you into the office with his finance director. Took about 10 minutes. No consultation fee. Their total price without pre-op blood work or binder was almost 6k with 2% discount if you paid with cash. First available appointment was 3rd week of May. I give Dr. Alkons office a 5 for consultation experience.
Dr. Saunders- Very nice Dr. Funny and very personable. He took his time speaking with me. I did not have to undress but he did look at my stomach and went into detail what would need to be done to get some of the results I wanted. He did say that he didn't believe he would be able to remove all of the fat from my flanks. This may have something to do with him stating he doesnt do hip to hip tummy tucks. He normally cuts 3-4 inches further than a mini. I was not happy to hear this but appreciated his honesty. He also showed me some of the pictures in the albums he brought in. All of his work was great. The consult took about 25 minutes and there was no consult fee. I was then brought to his finance department and was given the pricing sheet. Their charges were about $5500. My only disappointment was the person he had going over the pricing with me. She was fairly new and all the questions I had were not answered to satisfaction. The first available surgery date was end of May. Other than that I would definitely recommend Dr. Saunders. I give them an 8 for consultation experience.
Dr. Guarino - The entire staff was fantabulous. They were thorough regarding all information pertaining to surgery. After going in the room. The PA takes all pictures of your body. She asked all important questions and answered any I may have had. (She even put more coins in the meter for me..lol) Once Dr. Guarino came in I was already swaying. He was so nice. He listened, explained and showed me everything I needed to know about the surgery and what to expect. He took his time and made me feel as though I was his only patient. The consult lasted around 50 minutes. His finance person came in the room after I got dressed and went over pricing. Around $5000. 10% discount if paid in cash. This includes everything. Pre-op blood work, medication, binder and follow ups for a year. First available appointment is beginning of May but had an opening for April 15! I am officially heading to the flat side ladies. My pre-op is scheduled for Wednesday April 3. I give Dr. Guarinos office a 10 for consultation experience.
I appreciate all of your stories because without them I would not have known what to ask or look for. I can't believe it I am only 3 weeks away from the ne me!
By the way I have lost a total of 25 pounds and hope to get down at least 10 more by then. Insanity, hip hop abs, rockin body and the gym better do its job over the next 3 weeks. Lol!
