I am so excited and happy! I had a small hair transplant exactly a year ago to the front of my head and had great results. I was a nervous before I started so I only had a little area done. It was much better than I expected.

Yesterday, I came back to have the rest of my head done. I spent the whole day there and I was treated like a king again. I had no pain yesterday while it was being done and I actually slept through some of it. Today I only have some swelling and I feel great. Again it is better than I expected. In fact, so good that I am now going to go out tonight and see a movie.

It would be great if you could give us a little more detail about your experience, like why you had the surgery, your tips for getting good results, pros/cons, and info on the recovery process.

As a community manager, I get requests all the time from other members who want me to to keep encouraging people to share their experiences, which are so helpful for others considering these procedures. So please accept this as a well-intentioned request from thousands.

I am 33 years old and going bald. All the men in my family have no hair and I didn't want to be like them. My brother-in-law had a hair transplant 2 years ago at Bosley clinic and he looks good but he still hurts from the back of his head and I didn't want that. My sister knows Dr. Hamawy and told he he is good and can do my hair without scar and pain. I saw him and then did research about him and the neograft then I decided to try a small patch in front of my head. I was worried because I read a lot of good and bad things so I wasn't sure. After my first session I didn't see much of a difference unto about 3 months. The doctor told me it would be longer so I was surprised and happy. Then I had to save money to make down payment for the rest of my head. That's why I waited for year before coming back. His office set me up with carecredit card. Now my payments are less going to be less then my car.
