Hello ladies,
I wanted to say thanks for sharing your stories...it definitely helped me decide to explant. My surgery is in 6 days, and I’m very excited. I’m removing my saline, under the muscle implants of 13 years, no lift, under general anesthesia. The Dr. says he will remove part, but not all of the capsule. My only question to those who have been through similar is about the recovery: I was just asked to go on a business trip 10 days after surgery. My job is not at all physical, but was wondering if I’d feel up to traveling that soon after surgery. Still waiting to hear back from doctor’s office on their thoughts, but I figured I would reach out here as well.
Thanks!

Mine will be in 3 weeks. Mine are under muscle, too. Personally, I would not want to risk recovery by traveling so soon. From what I understand, you will likely be under restrictions to lift over a certain amount- so considering you'd have a suitcase, etc.... to deal with- if I were you, I'd opt out. You really won't know how it will go until it's done. I've followed a few people on here who had unexpected complications- and were still healing at 10 days out. Why push it, you know? I hope you get to take time off, give yourself plenty of time to fully recover, and heal well!
