WORTH IT$13,000
Wow! Time flies! I have no edema anymore (swell hell ended about three months after)...Super happy with my results. .. still get some twinges of pain when I twist or stretch my torso, but nothing too serious...Will need to have the ends revised to get rid of small dog ears . .. but overall I do not regret this decision!

Mepitac. .
ktinaAugust 22, 2015
Incision has now completely closed. .. had a spot that was being stubborn (where the drain was). . There are spots that are already super thin/light, but my local vendor had rolls of Mepitac for under 20$ and it has enough for three applications so I thought I would give it a try. .. still some slight pleating in the center but apparently this should remold over the next few months. Either way it still looks way better then before! Still have thigh swelling. .. not so much in my midsection though. .. and my back is really sore from the liposuction .. Worse now then the first couple of weeks. ... have to take something at night to fall asleep. .. and hurts like he'll when bumped! I am assuming this is just nerve regrowth. ..

Just took a boo at your profile. .. your tummy looks great too!! I still have a lot of stretch marks post surgery. . Mostly on my hips. .. just never saw them much before. .. sure notice them now! My stomach tattoo also needs to be removed now too. . Was a paw print. .. now it looks like the Grim Reapers hand. . Haha. . .

Experiment success!! Binder hell!
ktinaAugust 19, 2015
Well, moist wound environments definitely aid the incision healing process! Completely sealed up now, but one spot (where a drain was) decided to stubbornly hold out until this morning.. ..However, my binder is driving me insane. The "one size fits all" binder I woke up in never sat well and continually rode up my left hip....so I switched to two back braces but ended up with dual compression in my midsection leading to increased upper thigh edema. ... Gah! I was going through my old workout gear when I found an old waist shaper thing that seems to be doing the trick quite nicely! Plus it fits better under my clothes and I don't have to wear a t shirt underneath it. .. .win!!

Oh! Yes.. Waist trainer!! I've got one of them.. Didn't know if it would do the trick! It looks so much more comfortable for you!! :-) I've got a whole garmenty type thing... Fits perfectly but hard to get in and out of lol!!! You are looking fantastic!!!

I was looking at some online but by the time I order it in I won't need it!! It is hard to believe that when I bought this thing I could barely get it zipped up in the largest setting. .. it is on the smallest setting now :-) I am also finding I am becoming increasingly attached to my new outie belly button.. . :-)

You got an outie! Wow! I'm also in love with my new belly button. Although it looks a little square at the moment! Haha :-)

Mine looked square for the first few weeks too. .. then it sorted itself out and became a proper belly button! My binder always smoothes it and makes a weird crease. .. can't wait until I am out of the binder! Two more weeks! Hard to believe I am a month post op today! Time flies! Now. .. to hit the gym after my "gentle exercise" precautions are lifted so I can tone up and get into my bathing suit for Mexico in December!!
