33 yrs old, 2 kids. Always wanted rhinoplasty for my bulbous upturned tip. Finally took the plunge on 12/30/16. I had 3 consultations and decided on Dr. Funk. I think I like my results, although it's been difficult to look in the mirror and see such a difference. Also the swelling in the beginning made me a crazy person, but slowly it started to get better and better. I am about seven months out now. I have good days and bad days, but overall I think it's an improvement. The 3/4 view doesn't look quite right to me, but I don't know why exactly.

3/4 view

I don't know why this view looks weird to me. I know I have quite a bit of tip swelling still.

Your original nose is very similar to my original nose! I think the reason it's weird to see it from the 3/4 view is because it looks more straight. For me at least, it's weird to see it straight, because I'm so used to seeing my ball-shaped tip, which gave it a bit of a curve. For what it's worth, I think you look great! How does your tip feel? Is it still numb? (I'm less than 2 weeks out and my tip is completely numb, I'm wondering how long that will last)

Thank you! The tip is still a little numb and hard. I believe that will last 1-2 years, and then it'll feel totally normal. Best of luck to you in your recovery!
