3 months post op dr mahadev over the muscle
So happy with 3 months post op results. Posting this pic in response to an inbox msg! Feeling much more natural now.
9 days post op, 400cc, poor posture?
9 days and I'm starting to feel more normal and pain free! Only thing is my posture, I seem to be walking slightly hunched at my shoulders. This is probably because my skin still feels so stretched. Anyone else find themselves doing this?

Hey all, this is day 1 post op for me!
I've wanted a BA from age 18, so at age 30 I've been soooo lucky to finally be in a position to make this dream a reality, thanks to my wonderful fiancé, who's also looking after me amazingly right now! I'm just so happy and excited.
I had my BA done yesterday by plastic surgeon DR Mahadev with the Harley medical group at first trust hospital Preston, UK.
From start to finish staff were lovely, admitted 10am, obs done, pregnancy test done, changed into a hospital gown and paper knickers. I then relaxed with my fiancé watching TV until they called me down after doing my consent forms at about 11.45-12. I was 2nd on the list. Operation was 45mins- hour. I woke up in my little ensuite room with no pain and no nausea. Amazing!
My BP was on the low side, so the nurse rechecked it several times until it picked up. The standard coffee and toast was given , antibiotics to start on day 2, cocodamol to take 4-6 hourly and Dr Mahdev gave me a compression band to wear for 1 week, to be removed at my post op appointment. The nurse discharged me at about 2.30pm as I was doing absolutely fine and we went on our merry way back to the Ibis hotel were we had booked in for 2 nights in the event of any complications to be near to the first trust hospital , as we live 3 hours away.
When the cocodamol wears off all I feel is chest tightness. I just find myself moving around more slowly just so I'm careful not to stretch or strain. All it feels like is heaviness at the moment , no pain. I feel very lucky.
The most awkward thing was sleeping upright, we got extra pillows and propped myself up at 45 degrees and I slept with one of those aeroplane neck support pillows which really helped. Today we're going to buy a V pillow to see if that helps. I slept from 10pm-1am and then 3am-6am, waking up just to take cocodamol. Not the best sleep but totally worth it! Hopefully sleeping will get better. All in all, positive experience so far. I will post pics of day of surgery results.

Provider Review
Dr Gopal Mahadev
I would describe dr Mahadev as warm and friendly, he was able to put me at ease. He had a lovely bedside manner, asking if both me or my fiancé had any questions at all. So far so good at both pre op consultation and day of surgery. He made sure he came in to see me immediately prior to surgery and immediately after, always with a smile on his face. He asked if I was excited, I told him I was nervous so he gave me a hug which I thought was lovely. He also remained professional at all times.
