I had Radiesse injected into my tear troughs a few weeks ago. I have had it done previously without any problems. This last time was different. The dr injected the needle many, many times under my left eye. It was so bruised the next week on that side. Now I have lumps where the bruises healed. I can't believe this happened! I called the dr and was instructed to use warm compresses. That didn't work whatsoever. I have an appointment today to see the dr. I hope he does not try to beat around the bush. This needs to be addressed and taken care of.

Nodule extraction

I went in yesterday to have the Dr look at the Radiesse he injected under my eyes. He said he could try and extract the products where the lumps are under my left eye. He said he would just inject a needle. He also told me that it would be a tiny prick. I now have a black eye and two holes where he opened up the nodules with a needle. It's so swollen that you cannot tell if it worked or not. If it was not successful , he said he could inject some more filler into the area to try and even put the area.

Oh my. Well hopefully because you acted fast he can get it out- I had it put in temple area/above lateral eyebrows it later balled up and moved under my eyebrow and despite best efforts and trying to dissolve it with saline tons of massaging vibration it stayed for 2+ years. I finally got a brow lift and that helped smooth it out. I was told by the Radiesse injector that there is a small window to correct after injection so I hope you made it- I did not. Because it is calcium based there is nothing to dissolve it. I did try having them fill around the lumps and it helped somewhat. I was told by 2 other injectors later they don't use it by muscles that contract a lot i.e. forehead or in lips. I will never use any filler again that does not have a way to be dissolved. "Long lasting" can be great or a friggin nightmare! Good luck!!

I still have nodules under my left eye, but it does look a little better since DR Schwartz added Belotero to he tear trough. The bruise is still there. It cannot be the Tyndall Effect because neither Radiesse nor Belortero cause it. The Dr gave me three laser treatments to try and diminish the bruise, but it is still there. The Dr says I should just wait it out, but this is my face and what if it is permanent?
