I went in yesterday to have the Dr look at the Radiesse he injected under my eyes. He said he could try and extract the products where the lumps are under my left eye. He said he would just inject a needle. He also told me that it would be a tiny prick. I now have a black eye and two holes where he opened up the nodules with a needle. It's so swollen that you cannot tell if it worked or not. If it was not successful , he said he could inject some more filler into the area to try and even put the area.

I had Radiesse injected into my tear troughs a few weeks ago. I have had it done previously without any problems. This last time was different. The dr injected the needle many, many times under my left eye. It was so bruised the next week on that side. Now I have lumps where the bruises healed. I can't believe this happened! I called the dr and was instructed to use warm compresses. That didn't work whatsoever. I have an appointment today to see the dr. I hope he does not try to beat around the bush. This needs to be addressed and taken care of.

Did your issues resolve?

The dr injected belotero under the nodules, from the Radiesse he injected too superficially , to try camouflage them. It did help some, but they are still there. The dr also gave me three light treatments to try and get rid of the bruise I received under my eye, from when he attempted to break up the Radiesse with a needle, but the that bruise is still present. He also added belotero under my eye to make my tear troughs more balanced and that helped some too. I have had Radiesse in my tear trough for years prior to this experience. I don't know if I received a bad batch or what. I have read recently that Radiesse can cause nodules and to stay clear of it unless the dr has been using it and knows how to inject it deep enough that nodules will not form. The dr did attempt to correct he issue, but the nodules and bruise is still present. I may need more light treatments to breakup the bruise. It has been there since April. I just want it to go away. I would love any feedback and suggestions.

I would use an HA filler like Redensity2 in the tear troughs.it causes less swelling and can be dissolved if it does not work out
